I seriously don’t think that any of these guys, other that Liddell are making a killing in terms of pay. The only A-hole making any real money is Dana White. What do you think the pay per view brings in? When any owner runs his business like this, it leads to a “union” mentality and eventually leads to the over-paid cry babies we see in professional sports. Pay these guys a reasonable amount based on their rank and wins of course, and I for one would support it more willingly. Otherwise, it’s back to the streets (of any major city) to see some real fights!!!

I don’t think the bonuses should be reconsidered. It’s incentive for the smaller cards to fight harder to make more money.

I wouldn’t be suprised if the UFC decided to sign Soa Palelei and Sokoudjou (who they originally low-balled an offer of $20000 a fight) and feature them in main card bouts so they could encourage a reluctant Dan Henderson to drop down to middleweight to face Anderson Silva.
