Badr Hari: Knockout Artist
Fightlinker reminds us that the K-1 World Grand Prix is this Sunday night in Yokohama, Japan, featuring a double-stacked card of kickboxing action. Semmy Schilt and Mark Hunt will be fighting for the super-heavyweight title, and the main card includes Ray Sefo, Badr Hari, Glaube Feitosa, and Mighty Mo. Since we've already featured Sugarfoot and Mo on F.o.t.D., here's Hari's legendary reverse head-kick K.O. of Stefan Leko at 2005's K-1 World Grand Prix, followed by his quick demolition of Yusuke Fujimoto at last year's WGP in Hawaii (fight starts at the 2:13 mark). Highlights of Sunday's GP will be posted next week, as soon as we can find them.

Sozza Says:
Hari is crazy good. But the sickest knockout that he features in is when he gets KO'd by Peter Graham. That was insane. Still big fan of Hari. Definitely a future K1 champion.

Badr Hari is a very good fighter, not the best yet! Sefo and Feitosa are both in very bad shape, and those are the only really superfights that Badr won. The best fighter till now for sure is Peter the Lumberjack Aerts. He has been there since the beginning and made it to the final 16 every year. Aerts was only 19 when he won the world championship Muay Thai, 24 when he won his first K1 grandprix. By the way, his roots are in Morocco, but Badr Hari is born raised and last but surely not least TRAINED in the Netherlands (number 1 K1 country in the world). I hope Badr will win the grandprix, just not right now, because Aerts has a couple of years to go! Aerts Rules forever!!!!!!
