In California, the CSAC is only a “quasi-judicial” body, categorized as administrative in nature. As such, once that entity issues its final determination then the Petitioner (in the present instance Sherk) has only 90 days to pursue judicial review. Otherwise, barring the few exceptions, the legal game is over and the statute of limitations has run. Sean should get better legal counsel and advice on the law in California, not Minnesota.

Well, I think if Sherk wins the suit doesn’t go through. If he loses then he files the suit because he doesn’t get the big bank role and needs the money for taking that last year off.

If there is proof that CSAC’s testing was flawed then this will actually help other fighters from getting into trouble if they actually are clean. The chain of custody is a very big deal. Imagine if this was for a real crime and someone you knew was accused. The lawsuit won’t really help him in any way but it will go a long way in making sure testing is done accurately. Either way I am looking forward to this fight. It could be a classic!

I’m sure they’re training hard, but I totally agree that the pre-fight talks are annoying. It’s annoying in a mean-spirited-girl-fight kind of way instead of a testosterone competitive kinda way. I can’t really explain it that well.
