Great comments, Milo…seems you’re one of the very few on here who actually have enough sense to show the proper respect to one of the legends of the sport. Frank Trigg is still ranked 7th in the world in middleweight after all these years. And I own 3 Triggonomics shirts. It’s pretty sad to see people disrespecting the great athletes in the greatest sport in the world. And I can almost gaurantee it’s from people who’ve never got in the ring themselves.

I wrestled with Trigg in AZ and have followed his career for some time. Before most of you even knew about MMA Trigg was fighting in Japan (Pride) as far back as 1997. He is an entrepenuer and works his ass off to build his business (Clothing, Training Facility, Commentator etc… The list goes on. I give him major credit for working hard and building his brand and for competing at such a high level. And if anyone remembers, before Hughes got the rear naked choke, Trigg had him KO’d. He is great for the sport and I wish him much success. And to all you naysayers, how many businesses do you own? Or do you sit around at your crap dead end job and complain all day!!

I don’t remember anyone ever saying Hughes had the best standup and his wrestling was not exposed. GSP is simply a better wrestler in MMA. Koscheck wasn’t exposed when GSP tooled him on the ground. Koscheck would outwrestle anyone else at welterweight. GSP is simply a beast and can beat anyone however he wants.

At least Trigg tells it how he sees it. And yes, Hughe’s horrible standup was exposed by GSP not to mention his wrestling. Huges has got to be the most overated fighter ever. Thiago’s gonna slaughter him.

Frank got exposed by rear naked chokes by Hughs twice. He may just be a little bitter. It sounds like he has a lot going on. Maybe he could fix up that R-1 Gym. That place is a pit. Try mopping the mats. Sorry to bust balls. That’s just me being bitter for getting some foot funk working out at R-1. Trigg is a hell of a fighter. I hope he continues to improve.
