I like your options once Kimbo “clears out” his HW division in EliteXC, which could come as soon as next week. I am only a mild racist, not really virulent with my racism, but a clash of the Champions of the two premier MMA organizations (well, according to their presidents) would be interesting. My touch of racism leads me towards thinking that Roy Nelson might have the edge on Kimbo, but Kimbo is a Top Ten HW boxer, so that has to figured into the stand-up.

It really is the only option. I mean, Bo Cantrell is kinda in a Rich Franklin quagmire, where he is a top-shelf athlete that is just stuck behind Kimbo because Kimbo seems to have his number. Since nobody seems to be calling for the incredible rematch between Cantrell and Slice, there really are few options.

Whatever he decides, Gary Shaw better zip up his track suit and start thinking about the future of this all-important belt.
