Yoda: the guys on the card for Saturday are the guys who made it past the first elimination round, except for Jessie & Dan Cramer (who's hurt). I personally would rather see more of Mike Dolce & Gerald than yet another Dante or Cale fight, but a win is a win in professional fighting, even if it was ugly and/or controversial, & regardless of the fact that some in the 1st round had easy opponents while others had to face the best guys in the house.

As for Jesse, this could be the best thing that ever happened to him. He obviously loses control quickly after he begins drinking, & though this might seem like a huge loss to him as a result, hopefully he will figure out that he just shouldn't be drinking anymore. Time to grow up & stop risking everything for a little fun. Lots of people learn that lesson after a drunken driving accident in which someone was hurt or killed. He, on the other hand, still has a chance to get back what he lost.

I also agree w/ Dana's comment about what's he gonna be like famous - needs to get his head straight first. Dana's doing Jesse favor as much as the UFC.

Thanks to Gerald Harris and the powers-that-be at Cage Potato for a series of entertaining and informative behind-the-scenes glimpses. I have a pretty low tolerance for so-called reality television. In fact, TUF is the only reality show I've ever watched more than three episodes of, and I probably would've given up on this season were it not for looking forward to Gerald's posts. Mr. Harris, best wishes and best of luck to you in and out of the octagon, hexagon, decagon, 5th-dimensional tetracontagon, or whatever geometric shape MMA promoters come up with next.

This guy is cool man, if you go back through his blogs he's pretty humble. Remember the dude was a stand up comedian so he says some off the wall stuff - Even Amir mentioned how Gerald came to him and Forrest after the fight and aplogized for throwing a fit. If you go to the spiketv website you can see the video and he tells Amir that he's a great fighter and he didn't mean to disrespect him. This was the best season ever, but it ended the wrong way. Not just Jesse being cut, but I heard they cut 8 guys including Gerald. They only kept Matt Brown, CB, Amir, Dante Rivera, Matt Riddle, Cale Yarbrough, Tim Cradeur, and Dan Cramer.

Hey Gerald if the guy who beats you advances to the finals it proves you didn't lose to a bum. If he went into his next fight and got blown out easily what would that say about you?

Yeah, loved how Dana let the coaches watch the limo clip cold without any warning or preamble. Forrest is thinking "Shit! That could've been me!" Also noticed DW feigning rapid breathe once JT left the meeting. So dramatic. You're dead on Howie! That guy loves pulling the strings.

the key word was "tries"

and that was a really tough 15 minutes to watch. i almost had to change the channel, JT money is hard enough to understand when he is not upset about blowing an oppurtunity of a lifetime.
Did he refer to himself as a hero?

Damage on the ground? Did he actually finish anybody with GnP or did he just flap at them with panicky hammerfists, like I did in my first fight, back when I was eleven? Hmmm.

Agree with you on Forrest and Jacksons faces, never seen two tough guys squirm as much. I had to laugh. Until my disgust at the blubbering and snivelling made me run to the bathroom.

I agree with mike. What makes this match up any more exciting? CB pulls useless takedowns just to score points and lay on his opponent. I believe that his stand up is a little better than J.T's but at least mongo tries to do a little damage on the ground.

also. how uncomfortable were forrest and rampage during that meeting, the look on their faces was priceless.
