Jesse Taylor Now Mature Enough For The UFC

When Dana White kicked Jesse Taylor off “The Ultimate Fighter” Finale for being a drunken knucklehead, he also told Taylor to call him when he matured and got his act together. Apparently that only takes a few months, because Fight Hype is reporting that Taylor will be added to the July 19 event on Spike TV, and guess who he may be up against:
Despite being kicked out of The Ultimate Fighter Finale, it appears that Jesse Taylor is set to make his return to the UFC. Sources close to the situation have informed us that, less than one month after he was supposed to face Amir Sadollah in the finale, Taylor will be entering the Octagon on the July 19th card headlined by Anderson Silva vs. James Irvin. Although an opponent has yet to be named, it’s rumored that CB Dolloway, who replaced Taylor in the finale and ultimately lost a second time to Sadollah via first round submission, could be the frontrunner to land the fight.
Well isn’t this a twisted little scenario. At least we know Dollaway is relatively unscathed after his fight with Sadollah, and probably also pretty eager to get back in the Octagon to erase the painful memory of his one-tap defeat. It just goes to show that opportunity knocks more often for everyone when the UFC has a competitor they need to crush.
Now maybe if the AFL would hurry up and get huge Kalib Starnes might even find his way back into the Octagon. Probably not, though.

Dana White is really pulling every trump card he’s got against Affliction isn’t he? I like it. I like the competition. I hope Affliction pulls half a million PPV buys AND sells out, so we can see another of these fight comps.

Sounds like a really boring matchup, I would rather see Amir fight Jesse, since he was supposed to fight him anyway. That way he can shut up any critics (if he has any).

why would they let this loser into the ufc? the way he carried himself in the house was despicable and embarrassing - peeing his pants in the house, drinking to no end, etc. this guy is as inbred as you can get, should he fight in the ufc, DW is the biggest hypocrite out there! im all about giving ppl second chances but this guy should seriously be in counselling and get his shit together before having an opportunity to fight in the big show.

Now that the UFC used Jesse’s antic’s to get their superhero CB armbaraway back into TUF 7…..and STILL Cb couldnt find a way to win.
They figured that Jesse, close to a month later than TUF finale is somehow NOW fit to fight, but wasnt a month ago at the Finale.
The UFC got their way and still blew up in their face.

Posers and Pussies and Alkies…… The UFC speech to include alcoholics. The UFC just wants destuction of private property, vandalism and binge drinking while they are filming for the show, not AFTERWARDS??????
Good thing Jesse could be cured in less than month. I said it from the get go, that Jesse was getting screwed badly. The UFC wanted CB in the finals the ENTIRE time. And poor Jesse had to give them that chance. While the whole time in the limo and before hand CB and those with Jesse had to be HECKLING him to become Coco and be an asshole. But did anyone else get blamed???

What I find disappointing is that Jesse never owned up to his wrongdoings. He cried because he was SO CLOSE to the finale and it was taken away - not because he felt he did anything wrong. At no point did they air him saying anything along the lines of “I shouldn’t have busting up cars and harassed women.”

People who are saying this is one month really don’t have a clue… The Season 7 of TUF wrapped up many months ago!!! That is why they have already started filming TUF 8 with Nog and Mir but they won’t fight til New Years. Dana specifically said to call in a few months. I am sure 2 or 3 months to the day, JT Money was calling back and telling him that he will NEVER touch alcohol again. If this fight is announced, you can be sure Dana will have laid down some serious ground rules for JT Money to stay with the UFC. I predict CB will win…. JT is stronger but has no striking or ground and pound. This will totally validate Amir’s title. Cheers mates!
