Used to like Danzig, but now I think he is a dick. Rampage does not really think he is a thug and if grumpy bitch Danzig does not know why he wears the chain then he should STFU! I am certain that Machida, Liddell, Irvin, Silva, Silva, Jardine etc. (I think you get the point) can beat Griffin. Machida hit the nail on the head with that comment. The UFC is like boxing if it goes to the judges.

Mac Danzig is probably not a racist, he simpply made an ignorant statement.
Machida like many MMA fans don’t realize that the judges and referees are hired by the State Athletic Commissions. Dana White can not do anything about it nor influence the outcome of any regulated contest.

Let’s face the fact that most of the LHW’s can and probably will be knocked out at any point by most of the other contending LHW’s. With a division this stacked I wouldn’t plan on seeing a champion make a run of more than 2 or 3 fights before he gets caught.

I would much rather see Rampage with his chain, portraying the role of a FIGHTER, than Danzig running around acting like a tree-hugger with his bird house and vegan ways…Everything has it’s place.
Machida is kind of right…..but G.Peon hits the nail on the head. There are enough LHW’s now, that a fighter can be pitted against someone who’s style is impossible to beat….The UFC knows this and will place opponents as needed to build up the hype for future events…

He is not implying that UFC rigged the decision and gave the title to Forrest as the TS of the other thread made it look like.
Machida is just saying that he doesnt agree with the judges. Thats the first sentence.
THEN he proceeds to analize whats next based on the result of the fight!
He said that since Forrest won, they will likelly to give the next title shot to Chuck Liddell, for the obvious reasons: Chuck is an ex-champion, more popular, sells more.

Lyoto Machida did FINISH Sokoudjou who i believe is atop 10 LHW. So I guess mod just doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Is giving one of the top 3 Light Heavies in the world any credit become so difficult because he brings a different i.e. Karate style than we are all accustomed to? IMO Lyoto Machida =top 3 LHW of the world right behind Jackson and griffin. The only person who should get a title shot ahead of Lyoto Machida is Rampage Jackson!!!! Get that in ya Keyboard warriors!!!

I loved JYD, he really was a great man, who just happened to wrassle’.
I have heard more than a few storys about him hugging crying children, and telling them to not worry, cause he was just funnin’ he didnt REALLY hurt that other man.
Now back in the day when the marketing assholes were trying to pump “REALSPORT” down everyone throat, it was a job risk for JYD to tell those children the truth, but his heart was so big, and he was such a very nice nice man.
Sadly the dawg is no longer with us, but his presence and his love is instilled in others.
I was lucky enough to meet him one time, outside of his ring persona, and he was alot like Rampage, in his great sense of humor, but he was very soft spoken, and even though I was 17 at the time, he hugged me, and I told him how much I appreciated him entertaining me….im so glad I got the chance to tell him how wonderful he was.
I hope that Rampage, as he gets older will emulate JYD, because Rampage can be a better person outside that ring, and I wish him the very best.

Screw you guys. I not only take care of myself when it comes to diet but I read many books to constantly educate myself. Through this practice I have become more intelligent than you, making my opinion on the issue of Griffin vs Rampage the correct one. As I’m eating my veggie burger and sipping my soy milkshake I shake my exceptionally educated head in disgust at the idiocy of most fans of MMA. Rampage is not a thug but he plays one on TV. I’d be willing to fight him at a catch weight and prove to the MMA world that I have the brains and the skill to defeat him.
