The CBS show was only a success because of the people who were on the card. Before you can call something successful it has to succeed. After the last showing that displayed how much of a circus act they are, I highly doubt they will hit those numbers again, even with Kimblow on the card. I personally know that I will never be watching it again, I even canceled Showtime. I know i’m not the only one. If I want to voluntarily watch garbage i’ll put it on WWE.

They just want Gary Shaw to use his “contacts” from working for the New Jersey Athletic Commission for 20 years to rig another win for Kimbo. After that, they will completely kick his fat ass to the curb.

The Saturday Night Fight event that EliteXC produced was a success…for the CBS Network. If I recall correctly, EliteXC basically set up a prime-time deal at the rate of an infomercial. So, pretty much, CBS got the show for beans…and not even magic ones!

I doubt EliteXC is outta the red just yet.

I can’t wait to see Shaw selling his tracksuits on Ebay…

They’re tip toeing because they want to keep Gary happy and, in their view, productive, even after his demotion. I think the phrase “all his contacts” here is key. There are likely clients that Gary knows and can deal with better than anyone else they have. At the same time they got the memo that Shaw can’t handle the media and fails utterly at remaining cogent on camera.

So they’re just trying not to diss and humiliate him while sticking to their plan of demotion.

Oh wait that was rhetorical and for humor, my bad. As a denizen of the internet I have to nit pick any little thing you say, or they’ll take my membership.
