Let’s stop w/ the “this card sucks, they wasted my time” stuff. Where’s the true Fans of MMA? I’m thankful there’s enough fighters and leagues these days to keep us entertained. Not every matchup is perfect but fighting is unpredictable. True fans watch every fight they can get. Evans v. Liddell will be good if they don’t gas and stand there just looking at each other. If Evans doesn’t get knocked out he should win. He’s tough and doesn’t get enough respect for it.

I know you are trying to be funny, but the Yundt comment isn’t remotely fair. When you make a fight on short notice it shouldn’t count against you. Two people backed out of that fight, and Yundt stepped up. That isn’t Silva’s fault, and good for Silva for finding someone available on that kind of notice.

A good example of bad match-making is Nick Diaz vs. Thomas Denny.

Or… if you insist on pointing out fights to pick on Joe Silva, how about the rumored Rich Franklin vs. Matt Hamill. What kind of sense does that make?

Easy with the “Yundt”-talk there…..

He took that fight on like a weeks notice.

Yundt has some good skills. Given time, I think he could be a good contender. Unfortunately, his 0-2 pro record doesn’t help. He needs some wins, and I think he’ll get them soon.
