Diaz acting cocky as usual like he conquered the world last night. He beat an hand picked 37 or 38 year old ready to retire that he was a -600 or more favorite to win.

At those odds, not only he Nick SUPPOSED to win, he is supposed to win very easily. It is like the 12th grade fottbal player/wrestler/all sport fighting the 9th hippie.

Its getting harder adn harder to enjoy watching EliteXC. They hand choose EASY matchups for their "marketable" fighters to beat on...and maybe every now and then actual evenly matched fights.

I don't care for Diaz's mouth, BUT the other guy was clocking pretty damn hard and often at first, then Diaz whipped that ass. I don't care what the line says, you take to many shots from any lame ass your still gonna lose, so Diaz poured it on, and it was just as God intended....a knock down ass kicking no holds barred fight! I love a good slobber knocker even if its someone I hate.

tallsforeverybody i know what you mean... diaz could have shown us some slick submissions, but unfortunately he prefers to stand whenever he can.

matches are much better when you see a lot of styles being showcased... i'm still patiently waiting for 'complete fighters' to become more prevalent in the sport.

"tallsforeverybody", what about the Shields fight? It was over quick - you may have forgotten about that, but it was a great sub. This was a very good night of free fights. Was suprised that Diaz continues to allow himself to get roughed up a bit. Was hoping cuts would no longer hinder him, but he will have continued problems if he dosen't start going for the kill right away. He's a tough mo-fo though.

What is it with Refs on CBS? Both Herb and Steve looked shitty. Herb jumped in between fighters without stopping his fight, and Steve was just yelling at Cyborg to come down! MAybe not Steve's fault, couldn't tell in replay. Man, broads can be dumb. Thank god Dan Miragliotta was no where to be seen.

This was a very good, free night. Nothing to bitch about here.

Pantera Mojo also gets it. It was free! Where's the MMA fans? WTF do we care if every matchup isn't perfect? Most of the time that has more to do with the fighters than the matchup. How many excellent fights have been canceled because of injuries or just plain bullshit? More than any of us know, guaran-fucking-teed. I just love seeing these guys fight, don't care if it's Fedor or some nobody, I'm just glad they're doing it.
