When we wrote about TapouT's claim to have kickstarted Diego Sanchez's fighting career by getting him on "The Ultimate Fighter" at the expense of some other poor soul, many of you responded that it was none other than Jon Fitch himself who was cast out in favor of "The Nightmare". In this video from "Steel Cage Comedy Night", in which the hippie James Lipton sits down with Fitch all "Actor's Studio" style, Fitch talks about how he learned that he would not become a reality TV star and how the UFC gave him nothing but a quick apology before sending him on his way.
This is one in a series of videos from that night, and you know something? Fitch is a pretty entertaining guy. Makes you wonder why the UFC doesn't give him more mic time. Here's one where he talks about what it's like to get knocked out.

Shows how ridiculously powerful the UFC is. They can piss on him when he is starting out and then he still fights for them once he gets better. I hope affliction survives and helps keep the ufc more in line by providing options for fighters.

I don't see why they got rid of him, he seemed more entertaining than the rest of the cast. With the exception of Leben, Kos, Forrest and Stephen.

i just hope ultimate fighter stops grabbing over emotional frat guys.. it's starting to turn into an all man version of the real world, complete with drunken hysterics and tribal arm tatoos.
lets get some Seattle fighters on the show, those guys are kooky weird, look like lumber jacks, and probably smell.

I hope it's true that they dropped Fitch for Sanchez because that makes Fitch's victory over him that much sweeter. The UFC needs more guys like Fitch, GSP, Franklin and all the other non-meathead fighters.
