RJJ has a lot more experience and thus know-how when it comes to boxing and obviously it is silly for anyone, including Silva, to think that he could defeat him.
At the same time, just watching Anderson fight, whether it be MMA or boxing or muay thai, demonstrates uncanny technical ability that, with a lot of experience in a boxing arena, would lead to a very successful and lethal boxer.
Give him fifty pro boxing matches (win or loss) and he'd match Roy Jones easily.

the fact that no one really knows for sure how good or bad he would do is the entriging part.

That was not Anderson Silva's debut.... he lost his debut to Osmar Teixeira... then waited several years and had that fight.... Silva only had 2 fights... he was 1-1 and neither fighter that he fought was above average.
