the only KO to barnett was from rizzo. but i doubt andrei will be able to finish barnett even if he is fortunate enough to rock him once or twice, whereas even though arlovskis edge (perhaps only edge) is boxing, even there barnett has the KO finishing potential not AA.

barnett is tough match up for arlovski.
he bops around endlessly
yet is big heavy ,
and has KO power,
knees like battering rams,
all while desperately being concerned about
getting taken to the ground
where barnett is sickeningly good.

Barnett has never beat Fedor.

Did anyone actually read the article? Nowhere does it say or even imply that a match between Randy and Fedor was likely to happen in the UFC. It is stating that Randy vs Zuffa could get resolved and that would open the door for Affliction to promote a Randy vs Fedor fight opposite the UFC’s end of year event. Read before we speculate, people. And watch the movie ‘Idiocracy’ and keep good notes.

Is everyone on here mad? no way will Arlovski walk through Barnett. Barnett is clearly the better fighter, the people hes fought and beaten are of a much higher calibre than those Arlovski has fought. Hes arguably just a decent boxer fighting in MMA (although I know alot of you will claim that Barnett is just a decent wrestler fighting in MMA). This entire match is just a set up for the much anticipated Fedor v Barnett.

If Arlovski beats Barnett, he gets to fight Fedor, so what do you do with a then vanquished Barnett?

You put up Barnett/Aleksandar E. as a rematch since Barnett beat baby Fedor in Pride 2-3 years ago.

Arlovski/Barnett, Babalu/Tito, Vitor/Lindland is good enough for my 40$ PPV.

If Aleks is not really sick then I would like to see him on the card as well.
