"MMA Live" Headed to the Real ESPN Soon?

When Kenny Florian told us in our exclusive interview that he hoped to get ESPN's internet show "MMA Live" onto actual TV soon, we naturally assumed it was just one of those things you say without really meaning it. Kind of like, 'We should get together for lunch some time' or 'I love you.' But from the sound of it they might really be close to landing a TV slot for the show on one of the ESPN's:
"I don't want to let the cat out of the bag, but soon," Florian said. "The next couple of months, we're hoping to get [MMA Live] on ESPN or ESPN 2, and the sponsors are getting on board as we speak, so we should have a deal very, very soon. We're all very pumped."
In all seriousness, we really hope this works out. Not only is it a great step towards more coverage for MMA, but Florian is one of the sport's greatest ambassadors. You put his suburban Boston mug on TV with the words 'MMA Fighter' below them and suddenly it gets a lot harder to call the sport human cockfighting fit only for tattooed bar bouncers. Plus, doesn't the world deserve to hear about his hellbows?

That has to be the absolute worst article known to man. It was full of everything that could be negative about an article: misrepresentation, a shameless bias, little factual information and to top it all off, it was amateurish and poorly written.

Yea, The Ultimate Farcical Clown league, ooh wow you are flexing a giant vocabulary that noone will know what the fuck it means, the whole while dragging out long overwritten descriptions and a 12 year old arguing style, I am quite impressed. I would bet my savings account that Anderson Silva could be extremely successful in boxing, yet he is a thuggish bar brawling no skill idiot.

So how did people argue in 1996, Anonymous? I think you meant arguing like a 12 yr. old. And you're right, Silva has no skill except for the skill to smash fools who get in the cage with him. I don't think he'd be a very good boxer. No real jab, can't clinch or grab and punch in boxing, which is Spider's biggest strength. Uh, and that article sucked.

Click on the article that is advertised right under the guys picture "Doyle:MMA Seizes Day". It was written the next day by a different writer. Its a great article about how boxing is dead and MMA is taking over. I thought that article was great. I hope that guy went to the other guys cubicle and smashed his face with a keyboard.
