Bas Rutten Doesn't Take Kindly to Mockery

I'll assume that by now you've all watched and re-watched Bas Rutten's infamous bar-fight self-defense video dozens and dozens of times. Well, a Canadian comedian/MTV Live host named Daryn Jones has also seen it, and he put together a series of parodies spoofing the sadism and matter-of-fact delivery that made the original so beloved. His first clip is above; you can watch parts 2-4 here.
So, whatever, good for a chuckle. Problem is, Bas Himself has seen the clips (!!!), and he's none too pleased. His video response is below. Hope it was worth it, funny man — you're now on Bas's dangada-dangada list. But besides the obvious lesson of you don't mess with El Guapo, we also learn a couple more things in the video: 1) Rutten likes to drink pond scum, straight up. 2) His Tony Montana impression is shockingly good for a Dutchman. Enjoy.

Inspired by Gan McGee's recent e-mail blast announcing that he's coming out of retirement, I decided to re-watch his UFC 44 heavyweight title fight against Tim Sylvia. In retrospect, Joe Rogan was maybe a little too enthusiastic at the 2:48 mark.

Guapo's Montana-impression became painfully obvious to swedish martial arts-lovers when he'd appeared on "Rallarsving", a show where two swedish martial artists traveled around the world talking and training with different martial artists. He just couldn't stop doing it. He also told some great stories about how and why he began training martial arts, his childhood and an kick-ass story about a seminar when he was approached by some weird ninjas. The words "Never make the guy who has the upper hand angry" will always be stuck in my mind after that intervjue.

They speak mostly english, at least in all the parts with Bas, so it shouldn't be to painful to watch.

third video was great too, after reading ormma's post i was looking for the 'rape choke' slip up, but i won't spoil it either ;)

Wasn't this fight before Tim failed his drug test and he was stripped of any UFC title because he WAS sticking needles in his ass? I say some one should start a fight league where ALL the fighters are on roids, and that is a pay-per-view I would pay to see.

Yes it was the fight that he failed the post-fight drug test. I have to say, by Tim Sylvia standards he actually looks pretty ripped in this fight.

There I was watching the video and thinking, WTF? because of that damn stroller. And then Cage Potato was down before I got a chance to come and post it, and this morning, there it was--I searched for stroller and glassjaw beat me too it. Damn it.
