Reis Claims Bantamweight Title at ShoXC

The latest installment of Elite XC's "ShoXC: Elite Challenger Series" went down live on Showtime from Santa Ynez, Cal. last night. If you're wondering why you didn't hear much about this event throughout the week leading up to it, well, they didn't want to just tell everybody. What kind of sense would that make?
Wilson Reis was the big winner in last night's action, claiming the organization's first bantamweight (140 lbs.) title with a unanimous decision victory over Abel Cullum to remain unbeaten in his MMA career. Reis' grappling was enough to carry the day, even if he was unable to finish the wily Cullum.

I've never heard a crowd boo so much for NO reason. Douglas was mounted on Malaipet, pretty much pounding on him and they were still booing.

They were booing because my 2 year old nephew hits harder than he was hitting with those hammer fist and they saw that the ref was getting ready to stop the fight even though malipet was in no danger. Watch the fight again Malipet was taking those shots to the head at the end of round 2 and almost seemed bored. He looked at him like " Are you serious". Douglas is garbage and malipet showed his weakness. He got lucky that malipet has no ground game what so ever except for pure instinct.

I loved the sissy ass shoulder-thrown hammer fists Douglas was throwing. Apparently he only trains for 30 second fights like all his others. "...wait... he survived my 30 second flury? Well... looks like i'm fucked. Forget my Gracie jits training, I learned this in 7th grade school girl fight vids!! *proceeds to prove why Elite will soon be bankrupt*"
P.S. I would have never guessed Malaipet was the one who showed up over 4 lbs overweight. Douglas dwarfed him.
