(ReX13 would like to sincerely apologize for any awkwardness our thoughtless Pool B seeding may have caused.)
After collecting nearly 25,000 (!) votes over the last week, we’re ready to reveal the winners of our “Hottest Women in MMA Grand Prix” round-of-16. Read on to see the results for the four Pool A matchups, then hit the “next page” link to see which four ladies survived Pool B. And please come back on Thursday for the start of the quarterfinal round!
Round of 16, Pool A
Arianny Celeste [#1 seed] vs. Marloes Coenen [#8]

We’re used to seeing Marloes Coenen hang tough in the face of a ferocious opponent, but Arianny was just too powerful in this matchup, taking 79.9% of the vote.
Miesha Tate [#4] vs. Kenda Perez [#5]

In the closest contest of the opening round, Kenda Perez snuck past Miesha Tate with 52.4% of the vote. Only 135 votes separated the two. Still, mad props to Miesha for making it so competitive against a “professional hot chick” like Kenda.

Stephanie Ann Cook [#3] vs. Mercedes Terrell [#6]

Upset City! Bellator beauty Mercedes Terrell knocked off the #3-seeded Stephanie Ann Cook with a decisive 69.7% of the vote. Did Mercedes’s higher-profile in the MMA scene help her cause?
Rhian Sugden [#2] vs. Megan Olivi [#7]

It seems that a lot of you are enamored with Heavy.com’s star reporter — but her natural charms couldn’t compete with the international appeal of BAMMA/Page 3 girl Rhian Sugden, who gobbled up 66.8% of the vote.
