Ian “Uncle Creepy” McCall is set to take on Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson this Friday night for another semi-final fight in the UFC’s flyweight tournament. Their original March fight was mired in controversy as a judge miscalculated and ruled the fight in Johnson’s favor. It should have gone to a sudden victory round. The two fighters are going to throw-down to see which one will face Joseph “Beefcake” Benavidez for the inaugural UFC flyweight championship.

UFC on FX 3, which is headlined by the flyweight tournament rematch between Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall, and the welterweight bout between Charlie Brenneman and Erick Silva,  airs live on FX from the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT. Fans can watch FUEL TV for six televised preliminary bouts at 6:00 p.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. PT, and fans of the UFC on Facebook can see two more bouts at 5:00 p.m. ET / 2:00 p.m. PT.

News broke today that Brock Lesnar indeed may return to the UFC after showing his face ringside at UFC 146. The much-discussed former UFC champion recently made another foray into the world of WWE after suffering a TKO loss to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141. Many thought that Lesnar was indeed finished with MMA, as diverticulitis and two vicious knockouts in a row began to take their toll. However, today it appears that is not the case.
Soon after UFC 146, rumors swirled about Dana White meeting with Lesnar.

Earlier this week UFC Interim champion Carlos Condit came out and said that if Georges St. Pierre is not ready to fight in November, he would fight surging contender Martin Kampmann instead. The news apparently does not sit well with fellow Welterweight Johny Hendricks, who feels he is the rightful number-one contender to Condit’s belt. Coming off a decision win over Josh Koscheck and a one-punch knockout of Jon Fitch, Hendricks had the following to say:

Buddy Roberts (11-2) will be making his UFC debut this Friday night at UFC on FX 3. I first caught Roberts on the local MMA scene in Reno and Northern California a few years ago, where the up-and-coming fighter was proving himself a force to be reckoned with. Roberts is one of those fighters who is comfortable whether he is on his feet or on the ground. Georges St-Pierre is on the mend and feeling great. This should sound like music to his fans’ ears, as the French-Canadian UFC Welterweight Champion has had to sit out his last two scheduled fights (UFC 137 and UFC 143) due to an ACL injury of his right knee. We were told that he would be out of action for at least 10 months.
Five months later, St-Pierre seems to be coming along fine in his rehabilitation. In his latest “Road to Recovery” video, posted by St-Pierre on his Youtube channel, he says: “My knee
