Amir Sadollah Returns Next Month Against Brad Blackburn

Fresh off his unanimous decision victory over veteran brawler Phil Baroni at UFC 106, Amir Sadollah will be going right back into action less than two months later. The TUF 7 winner will reportedly face Brad Blackburn in the main card of UFC Fight Night 20 (January 11th; Fairfax, VA); the event will be headlined by Nate Diaz vs. Gray Maynard.

Sadollah’s professional record currently stands at a mere 2-1, including his submission win over CB Dollaway at the TUF 7 Finale and his 29-second TKO loss to Johny Hendricks in August. By contrast, Blackburn has 28 pro fights under his belt and is currently 3-0 in the UFC. "Bad Brad" most recently won a split-decision over Edgar Garcia at the TUF 9 Finale in June, despite being the recipient of the Gnarliest Punch Face of 2009. Blackburn also holds notable victories over Jay Hieron, Ryo Chonan, and Chris Wilson. Will Amir rise to the challenge, or is he straight-up outgunned here?

Speaking of Sadollah’s old foe CB Dollaway, the Doberman also has his next appearance booked, as he’s scheduled to meet

EDIT: Speaking of Sadollah's old foe CB Dollaway, the Doberman also has his next appearance booked, as he's scheduled to meet Goran Reljic at UFC 110 in February, and will possibly get decapitated and/or have his face ripped off.

I'll DVR it, but I'm not gonna get my panties in a bunch over a couple of mediocre fights.
I dont watch fights just to watch fights anymore, I'm over that. UFC 12 and 13, I watched those just to see fights. Now, I want to see good fights. Have you ever seen WEC Wrekcage? That shit is on like 2 or 3 times a week, and some of those are fucking excellent fights. Sure, they dont feature those douchebags you recognize from that dumbass reality show you watch after you get home from school. But there are some well-rounded experienced fighters in interesting matches. And as long as I have a couple of those recorded, Im not gonna get excited when UFC serves leftovers.

I didnt say I was excited to see Amir fight necessarily. But for a free night of fights, you cant complain just because there are people with slim records. That is dumb reasoning actually. Im watching to see fights, regardless. And these people on the under card that no one really knows could be the next up and coming contenders in their divisions. Not watching just because you don't like anyone that is fighting is dumb as fuck.

Yeah, you're right. A 2-1 professional career, with his wins over CB Dollawhoo and a decision over todays Phil Baroni, yeah thats somethin to get real excited about.
By that line of reasoning, I should really be excited about the well respected Kim Coutures next fight, too. Right?

Yeah, 831 Son. I'M the idiot.

You are an idiot Lunk. You are just like the trolls who only want to see title fights, or the "stars" fight. I think TNA impact is on that night, I think that suits you better.

Best case scenario, Im watchin UFN 20 only to masturbate to those commercials where you can call hot singles live. Even then, I'll be asleep before the second round of the first fight begins.

Adding Amir to the UFN card was about the only way to make me care about it even less. Its shitty, even for free tv.
If QVC is featuring Nintendo Wii that night, then Spike is fucked.

Amir is one of those people that are just funny by looking at them. I think that's also why a lot of people hate him. I always hope that he does well but the guy takes an ass kicking every first round he's in. Sometimes tiring the other guy out with your face isn't the best game plan.

CB should stick to wrastling.

I hope C.B steps into the octagon and fucking EXPLODES. That's the only way i'll be happy.

Remind me why C.B. Dollaway's still in the UFC again?

More like C.B. Dollamenu, amirite? Shut up, I was already leaving.

Blackburn's gonna be rough.

I like Amir and he looked good against Baroni, but I think this might be to much for him. Beating a tuff winner is a good way to get your name out there an Blackburn is a serious veteran.

Also I hope Reljic kicks Dolloway's head clean off his shoulders.

I almost feel bad posting before Killdozer...

This guy is one of my favorite personalities in MMA. I love when he gets his camera time he tries so damn hard to ignore it. In the cage, he's an animal. Here's to Amir. Blackburn will be a good test. Let's see how he takes it.
