To answer some of the people who are questioning why the Japanese people enjoy seeing these fighters in both real and fake fights; the Japanese people see both types of fights as entertainment. While of course they do understand the difference between the real thing and scripted fighting, they also feel that either way they are getting to see these fighters “working” and simply seeing their stars in action (for many of the fans anyway) is enough.

At least those are the notes I have been given from the Island of Japan.
