Mike, Yes I know how marketing works, supply and demand, exposure and etc. The fact that Dana White has been promoting Anderson Silva to be the worlds pound for pound best does not have to do with this award. Yes you can say it is implying that he is the best fighter, and that Dana White put Wladimir Klitschko, a boxer who is less known (Even though he holds the IBF ,IBO and WBO world heavyweight titles.) But saying that Anderson Silva didn’t fight the best in his weight class is just stupid; every single opponent was on at least a 2-6 fight winning streak until Anderson stopped them and ending every fight before the end of the second round come on. GSP also with his last 5 fights basically being with the exact same people, I can not to say that his opponents where the best either, Yes Matt Serra was the champ, but that was a lucky move on his part and Matt Hughes not being able to end a fight since first losing to GSP, shows that Hughes as an fighter is washed up. Fighting the same opponent over and over again is like how Tito Ortiz fought Ken Shamrock 3 times, 2 of those being in a row. This statement was answering your first comment of Anderson Silva’s opponents not being basically nothing. I agree with the fact that Dana White set up the award by putting a no name Boxer for Andersons Opposition in the award category.

GSP has often said that he's not the type of guy to get into fights in bars, and when he's provoked, he's more the kind of guy to talk his way out of an argument, giving the chalenger credits and such... So the reason I commented like I did, is because this is "indirectly" stating the obvious, that the UFC thinks he is lb for lb the best fighter in the world. Ok Mike, first of all this award is for being the most DANGEROUS MAN in the world; not for being the world’s best pound for pound fighter so I don’t know where your getting those types insinuations from this award show.

Secondly being Dangerous is different from being the best, like GSP, yeah I can say he is probably the world’s best pound for pound, but this does not mean he’s dangerous. GSP looks like a guy who would rather avoid a fight on the street by talking his way through the trouble (since he’s French/Canadian and all). But Anderson Silva who grew up in Brazil, looks like a man who would smash your face in if given the proper reason, whether it is a person messing with him or his friends/family.

So I don’t know who you’re calling a Knuckle head man, maybe you should start writing comments that add to what the video has shown.
