The official lineup for the WEC’s 37th event (December 3rd; Las Vegas; live on Versus at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT) has been released, with three of the four main-card fights taking place in the bantamweight division. Headlining the card will be top-ten pound-for-pounder Miguel Torres (34-1) defending his 135-pound strap against the undefeated Manny Tapia (10-0-1), who was originally supposed to challenge for Torres’s title in June until a knee injury forced him to pull out of the match; Tapia hasn’t competed since February.
The sole non-bantamweight match on WEC 37′s main card is a highly anticipated 145-pound meeting between former IFL champ Wagnney Fabiano (#4-ranked featherweight) and former Shooto lightweight champ Akitoshi Tamura (#7-ranked featherweight). The card also features Brian Bowles, Mark Munoz, Bart Palaszewski, Alex Karalexis, and Cub Swanson. Not bad for a Wednesday night. After the jump: WEC 37′s full card, plus video of Miguel Torres absolutely wasting Alex Khanbabian at Ironheart Crown 8 in November 2004.

commentsThe post was actually there when I responded. It somehow entered my post 2 minutes earlier than his. It is obvious you are hurt by the truth. You are a true MMA noob and the only knowledge you have of fights or or fighters stats is hear say, or read on various sites. Which brings me to my next question, how can you still misspell fighters names? Jump back on the internet and do some more research DOUCHEBAG.
@APEX
I agree 100% with you. His arrogance got the better of him and that move was nothing more than him being a cocky midget, but seriously, can you honestly deny the fact that he hasn't ran that whole division and is not worthy of a rematch? I can say you would probably see the most focused Faber ever and that is a little scary.
No fluke. Faber went for an idiot move. If he had gotten caught in an exchange, sure, but that one was blatantly his own damn fault. Seriously, if that kind of shit worked in MMA Jean-Claude would be the champ.
Yeah! At UFC 7 he fought "Mighty" Joe Heimowitz at 135, it was the first MMA fight to end in a gogoplata and thats where B.J. first got credit for inventing the move. Later that year Nintendo came out with a game called "Mike Tyson's Punch Out" the main character of that game (besides Tyson) was created in Mighty Joe's image, because of his underdog status and all. It was a back and forth battle that became one for the ages. Look it up on youtube.com. It's the seventh video down if you search "Mighty" Joe Heimowitz gets a B.J. under the French section.
DOBBY
I meant everything else
P.S.
Clozer=Douche
Don't feel bad Clozer got owned on his last attemp at making another poster look like an idiot.
@Clozer
might want to change your name to Jorge Gurgel.... Close but no cigar!
(As well as you DOBBER not because you're a douche, but because you were not actually first.)
Torres is a stud in the making.
