Steroids in MMA
Which MMA Fighter Will Test Positive For Steroids Next?

Bellator 48 Exclusive: Seth Petruzelli Explains His Bald Head and Karate Background

Here’s what happens when you give an eccentric amateur MMA fighter a Bellator 48 press credential and tell him to “just have fun out there.” Our man Jeff “KarmaAteMyCat” Watts was representing CagePotato in Uncasville, Connecticut this weekend, and came back with a ton of interviews with the show’s stars and supporting players. We’ll kick things off with his chat with the victorious Seth Petruzelli. Instead of going the predictable route and asking the Silverback what it felt like to ruin Ricco Rodriguez‘s 12-fight win streak, Karma uncovers Petruzelli’s feelings about fedoras and traditional martial arts — as well as his most beep-worthy photo with Tom Lawlor. Lots more to come…

nice interview mate, yes you were nervous, but fook it least you have a bit of knowledge about different disciplines!

my advice - slow down a little when you talk and take a few seconds between them answering a question and you asking the next. Your next interviews will get easier and easier

Wow... that was shitty.

@Get Off Me: If memory serves me, Seth KO'ed Kimbo with a backpedaling jab. It looked to me like he had a lot more sauce on the punch he fed Rico.

"Me and my brother would have done a better interview than you, and we know more about fedoras!" -Sudo
Get Off Me- August 22, 2011 at 11:06 am
Thanks for the interview Karma.
Is it just me or did Seth KO Rico with the same punch he used to KO Kimbo?
Other than that My Konrad-Silverback-Curran parlay cashed at +700, definitely a good night.

Bisping just tweeted, " fedora's are manly."
Deadpanda- August 22, 2011 at 10:31 am
Hey Karma,

It's funny how when you do something well all of the low-lifes come out of the woodwork to tell you how you should have done it.

Keep it up.
entropee- August 22, 2011 at 10:07 am
That was really good stuff Karma. Obviously you were nervous but you hung in there and as it went on you got better and better. Looking forward to more. Fedoras are gay though.
KarmaAteMyCat- August 22, 2011 at 10:06 am
I had a blast. I don't really care what anyone says I did it for the Potato Nation and I was on two hours of sleep. Enjoy the rest of them folks because I enjoyed doing the event.
mDino- August 22, 2011 at 10:05 am
i stopped this video 10 seconds in because i dont speak either spanglish or gibberish.

If Cage Potato would have taken me up on my earlier offer to supply potato mash Vodka for all working hours, Karma would have had something to take the edge off...just saying.
Karma is good at interviews, on the big circuit he runs neck and neck with the funny fuck from Ohio, Skippy.
My two tips for Karma, drop the at risk-teens bullshit. If troubled teen finds his way off the streets, and then does something with it - that makes a excellent story.
Trying use sympathy for the interview and French-It-Up with the troubled teens is weak sauce. If you want to start a new collection for your office wall's, I got a suggestion.
If you can't afford fully automatic firearms, including a ballistic knife and throw-able SPETNAZ death shovel/machete, try collecting skateboards (steel and clay wheels era)....
...any MMA fighter that can't grind on a half pipe, likely doesn't have the balance or coordination required to ever command inside the ring.
Instead of collecting items that boost your ego-esteem by thinking your looking cool, the energy and cash is always best spent furthering your career and the skills required to cross that fine line of the 10,000 hour rule.
Never liked Seth in the past. I flipped today, possibly due in part to no-more pink hair, but also I would like to see him one day get past his minor bobbles inside the UFC.
CheechFace- August 22, 2011 at 9:32 am
Nice interview Karma, off the beaten track. Seth did his part too, comes across as a pretty cool guy and flowed with the Qs you threw at him.
Gobbleston- August 22, 2011 at 9:29 am
D00d. He's gots the nervousness, he'll get better. I like his less formal / more personal type of questioning which still gets interesting and relevant information. Honestly, I've been a fan of Seth's since TUF, his style is really great, but his cardio has always been complete shit. I hope he's been working on that, and not submitting animals.
BoJimbo Spice- August 22, 2011 at 9:11 am
God this sucks. Don't interview someone if you have a speech impediment.
ReX13- August 22, 2011 at 9:05 am
Good stuff, KAMC. Keep these vids coming.
Fried Taco- August 22, 2011 at 8:04 am
Take the dick out of your mouth and maybe you can speak better, Karma! JK! :-) BTW, I may know where your fedoras are...
