Well, it’s Tuesday, which means you’ve probably been biting your nails all day wondering when Dana White is going to drop his huge, mind-blowing announcement that may or may not define the future of the sport. Dave Meltzer, who broke some news earlier about EliteXC’s next CBS show — which has the working title of “Unfinished Business,” by the way — now has this to say via f4wonline.com:
Dana White has moved the meeting for UFC employees to Noon tomorrow (Wednesday) for the big announcement. So word should break shortly after that time.
MMA Mania points out that the New York Tourism, Arts and Sports Development Committee is slated to vote again tomorrow on legislation to legalize MMA in NY. That could just be a coincidence — White previously denied that his announcement was related to New York MMA regulation — but we’ll update you when we know more.
And hey, just so this post isn’t a total waste of your time, here’s a rather-awesome UFC 86 hype video, running down the matchups between Forrest Griffin and Quinton Jackson, as well as Cote vs. Almeida. By the way, if you tell Rampage he’s not going to win this fight, you can kiss his natural black ass.

commentsWith that said I would like to see him lose to take him off the perch a little PLUS as a bonus we would actually see more of him, cause the champ doesnt fight enough to suit me they protect the champs, if rampage aint the champ we get more rampage, and thats not a bad thing at all.
I think Forrest would make a cool champ. so this fight has no pressure for me, Im gonna be happy one way or the other, but Im leaning to a decision win by forrest.
I wish someone would interview rampage and tell him thats hes funny as hell, and that the fans need a full 30 minutes of just silly Rampage sayings, cause thats worth buying right there alone.
Rampage if you are reading this, you are the most endearing mofo I have ever seen.
The Cote vs. Almeida fight is going to be the reason to watch this card.!
He opened his mouth too soon, and when NY decided NOT to pass and LEGALIZE MMA in NY, Dana then had to INSERT foot. But just like he has lied in the past. He simply postpones and then STATES that it is not that big of a deal.
Now that the RE-VOTE for the MMA bill in NY is not until WEDNESDAY, IMAGINE THAT, Dana now has to postpone the "HUGE, MINDBLOWING ANNOUNCEMENT" until Wednesday.
So sick of his shit. He overhyped it, even LIED and SAID it WAS A DONE DEAL. It BETTER be somethign other then the MMA in NY FIASCO!!!!!!!
BUT, your photo posts are horrific!!! Blurry pixels from resizing lowres images, stretching images just to make them fit.. and now.. your using a istock photo, a pay site that license images, with out paying for it!
You can tell this because the image post has a giant istock watermark through it!
Just so you know, photographers "lend" photos to istock, istock licenses them to end users then the photographer gets paid a percentage for usage rights. So in effect your taking money from the artists who originally took the photo.
Just thought you would like to know!
