Steroids in MMA
Which MMA Fighter Will Test Positive For Steroids Next?

Butterbean Has Now Officially Proven He Has No Clue About MMA

(Video courtesy YouTube/rattsnakeratt)

Having watched quite a few of Eric "Butterbean" Esch‘s MMA fights over the years, purely for the comedic value, I’ve taken to calling him "Turtle," because every time he got on his back he was fucked.

Despite joining American Top Team — a camp known as much for its high-level Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belts as it is for it’s dangerous strikers, Esch has done very little to round out his game in his nearly seven years in the sport. He’s basically just an older, fatter version of the hard-punching jobber he was in boxing.

So when he says things like "Mariusz Pudzianowski is going to be the best heavyweight in the world in two years," his opinion doesn’t hold much water.

He could be trying to talk up the terrible showing he had against The World’s Strongest Man" last weekend in Poland in a first round TKO loss that looked suspiciously like a WWE work, but if Turtle Butterbean truly believes that Mariusz will be the next Fedor or Brock, Moosin might want to reconsider having him as its spokesperson.

"He’s learning very much. He’s come a long way. In two years, I don’t think there would be anybody out there that would be able to compete with Mariusz. So, Poland, they might have to wait two years to have the best MMA man out there. But it’s coming. He’s learning very, very fast," Esch said in an interview after his KSW bout last weekend. "He’s a very smart man. He’s not stupid. He’s very smart. I’ve never said anything bad about Mario, other than he punches like a girl. But he’s a very smart man, very nice, very strong. Two years he’ll be unbeatable."

Is it just me, or did it seem like he was pulling a Sonnen by saying he never "said anything bad about Mario," since he is technically right, since Pudzianowski’s name is Mariusz.

If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s the man Esch considers the future of heavyweight MMA. My two-year-old daughter hits her Fisher Price toy workbench harder that Pudz hit Butterbean in the fight.

Butterbean, the name says it all

In 2 years that man will be well over 600lbs and stuck in a bed until the fire brigade needs to cut a hole in the wall to remove him.

Every time I see this guy I can't get over how fat he is. Nothing more needs to be said about the statement he makes here.

Is it just me or does Butterbean look like Tweedledum and Tweedledee from the new Alice in Wonderland?

*Later in the interview Butterbean submitted to the hard blows to his ego by the reporter by begging a nearby referee to make it stop.

He ran out breath by the end of that interview.

Butterbean thinks that MMA stands for: Many Meals, All you can eat

So Butterbean is to MMA what Butterbean was to boxing? Makes sense.

Pawel Nastula... or Natsula... or something like that. Pretty sure that's who I'm thinking of. He woud beat Pudz.

In thinking about it, there is a disturbing lack of Z's in Nastula's name. K-Sos and the rest of the Poles must be ashamed.

"I've taken to calling him "Turtle," because every time he got on his back he was fucked." Possibly the most humerous thing I have read of yours!

In two years Pudzianowski will be 35, will still have T-rex arms, and will never compete for a UFC championship... that's my lock of the century, sorry Poland...
RwilsonR- September 21, 2010 at 1:43 pm
The Pudz isn't even the best fighter from Poland, let alone the world. I bet that judo guy... that roided up Polish judoka who got like top 5 heavyweights in his first 3 fights in Pride... whatever his name was... I bet he could beat Mzarziusz.

he hits like a girl...and yet you tapped to strikes instead of letting the ref save you like a (half)man would do.

He missed just about every hammer fist on a beached whale.

One thing Im sure about when it comes to the morbidly obese, such as butterbean, is that when they talk, the vibration caused by all the excess fat around their throat makes it seems as tho they are pronouncing a lot of "B"s even when its apparent there are no "b"s in the words they are saying. Very similar to homo's and their "S'sssssss" at the end of every sentence. That being said, its quite possible Butterbean said in 2 years, Mariusz would be "Un-eatable". Most likely because Butterbean feels he will be much more well known and wouldnt go missing as easily as say Pete Sell.

When I watched the fight video of this match and seen the KOSBUD logo on Mariusz Pudzianowski's Back I started looking for the COUNTRY KITCHEN BUFFET logo on Butterbean's, no avail. Advertising opportunities down the drain there folks.

"So when he says things like "Mariusz Pudzianowski is going to be the best heavyweight in the world in two years," his opinion doesn't hold much water."

His claims might not hold much watch but that Jennie-O motherfucker holds plenty.

I think when he said he was getting into MMA after boxing the reporter misquoted him. He said he was getting into M&Ms after a box of chicken.
Kimbos Bread- September 21, 2010 at 12:25 pm
Didn't have to venture past his nick name to get to that conclusion.
J_Spice- September 21, 2010 at 12:20 pm
butterbean might not know his MMA but he sure knows his way around a buffet.
