Steroids in MMA
Which MMA Fighter Will Test Positive For Steroids Next? Is on Wikipedia Now, Homey

With the help of our buddy Josh G., CagePotato has been officially recognized by that ultimate source of online knowledge, Wikipedia. Gone are the days when our only presence on that site was a reference to how cursed Phil Baroni‘s wife is. Now we’re ready to be listed alongside such thought-provoking topics as Other Roles Played by Martin Lawrence on the TV series Martin and the Lloyds Bank turd. As you can see from the screen-cap above, there are still some doubts as to how serious of an operation we are. So if you have anything positive to add to (preferably sourced to a respectable third-party), send your suggestions to and we’ll get ‘em up. This should go without saying, but page-vandalism won’t be appreciated, even if it’s funny page-vandalism. Do us this one favor, okay?

As i said a month ago, it is still listed on Baroni's Wiki page that he's rumored to be part of the next Jersey Shore.

Effin' WIN, dude. Viva Hate wins twelve internets for that one.

On the other hand, it is possible that he's actually involved. In which case, make that FIFTEEN internets.

(someone needs to repost the Were-Guido stuff though)

That's like putting a porn link on an abstinence website. Good luck with that.

Aww, but wiki-terrorism is so much fun. :( Simple things like stories about strange writings in a foreign language were found in Nikola Tesla's apartment after he died and Frank Sinatra was actually an FBI informant in the 70s sure can mess up some kid's research paper. :)

"Lloyds Bank turd", not to be confused with the large turd left by Lloyd Marshbanks.
El Famous Burrito- February 18, 2010 at 2:01 pm

YES! Ha ha. Awesome. That made my day.

@ Viva Hate:

Hahaha, nice work!
ReX13- February 18, 2010 at 1:25 pm

Funny thing is, i bet the Jersey Shore rumor stays longer than anything else--no one will be sure if it's legit or not.

I wonder if anything happens to any other pages...

Note to self, check on the following fighters:

The Diaz Bros
BJ Penn
Scott "Lyin' Hard" Blevins
Kimbo Spice
James Toney
Jose Canseco
et al.

Wonderful, I have captured it all on a print screen for memories that will last a lifetime. Really it is the little thing in life that make you happy.

Did you guys know Baroni is going to be on Jersey Shore? I just learned that.

Ya, hopefully the Bens forgive us for this, its just so fun.

@ Viva Hate

"Nice work. If only that would make it to his official nicknames under his photo."

You obviously haven't checked Wikipedia lately.

The Bens are gonna be SO pissed at us, you guys.
El Famous Burrito- February 18, 2010 at 12:41 pm
I also like how Phil's wiki references include an article entitled:

"Some Poor Woman Married Phil Baroni".

from our very own

@ Viva Hate

Nice work. If only that would make it to his official nicknames under his photo.

Sadly the "were-guido" comment on Baronis wiki did not last long, I checked daily only lasted like a week.

It may be back though, who knows! Hint Hint!

I shit you not! I just went to the CP wiki page and saw this, and it made me laugh out loud!

" was launched by CURTIS SAMPLE NIGAAAAAAA!"
WuTangClan- February 18, 2010 at 12:26 pm
Curtis Sample is a faggot.
Sabado Gigante- February 18, 2010 at 12:16 pm
In January 2010, was issued two media credentials to cover an event in the Death Star that is scheduled to take place sometime within the next 15 zultans... Scheduled as the co-main event is Martinez/Zimmer II, followed by the main event, Martinez/Zimmer III
WarpedAcorn- February 18, 2010 at 11:57 am
Baroni really went by the nickname "The Barometer"?

Also, how could have ever had the nickname "Bang Bang Baroni" when he refused to bang bang his wife while training?
agentsmith- February 18, 2010 at 11:42 am
I see the "were-guido" joke was removed from Baroni's Wikipedia page. I wonder how long that stayed up before anyone noticed. That was some good work, folks... I'm proud to have been a part of it.

Someone needs to document the CAPS_LOCK_Hal era and fued with Shane Carwin.
Goat- February 18, 2010 at 11:36 am
One of the greatest minds to ever grace the comments section, Goat has been continually snubbed by the CP staff for the coveted Comment of the Week award. Some have even gone as far to call him the "Martin Scorsese of Cage Potato". He can bench 400lbs and has incredible sex appeal.
ReX13- February 18, 2010 at 11:25 am
"Cagepotato is a news/entertainment website focusing on the sport of mixed martial arts (MMA). The site is a member of the Break Media Network, currently one of the 33rd largest web properties in the United States."

Isn't this akin to Maia being a top 6 mma fighter?
