Check Out Genghis Con’s Awesome Looking New MMA Reality Show

(Video courtesy YouTube/GenghisConFilms)

One of our all-time favorite highlight makers, Genghis Con is putting together a pretty sweet MMA reality show that has the feel of a UFC Primetime or HBO: 24-7.

Miami Hustle follows American Top Team fighters Jorge "Gamebred" Masvidal, Gesias "JZ" Cavalcante, Alexis Vila, Jorge Santiago andJuan Carlos Faraldo through their training and the real realities of their daily lives, which is something that an artificial reality show like The Ultimate Fighter can’t emulate.

It looks like GC is looking for a network home for the show, which may end up broadcast online like our current favorite documentary series, Alistair Overeem‘s biopic, The Reem. Hopefully he finds one.

If crap like Jersey Shore and Big Brother can get picked up, it would be a shame for a show like this one to get passed by.

Genghis Con's stuff is so good, when "The Reem" series started I thought at first that he was doing it.

It would be cool if this show, instead of being picked up by a network, could be bankrolled by a group/person/association/etc. that's interested in promoting the fighters rather than just making a fistful of cash off of MMA. I think that's what's been so great about The Reem videos (I'm sure ATT must be putting at least a little bit of money into this in order to promote their fighters.) But Bas Boon said that having a crew constantly follow Overeem has been expensive and having GC as the lone man with the movie camera in Miami can't be easy or cheap work. So, I'm curious how long this venture can last. But I wish GC the best. His work has always been great.
