Check Out ‘The Reem Episode 10: Redemption’ and Try Not to Get Goosebumps

Well the makers of “The Reem” have done it again and it looks like this could be the best episode yet of Alistair Overeem’s online web series¬†thanks to the cool footage of fans around the world watching and reacting to his UFC debut.

This time our favorite documentary filmmakers follow our hero to and from his UFC 141 fight with Brock Lesnar.

(Video courtesy of Vimeo/TheReem)

Of note is Dana White’s assertion that he was wrong to call Overeem “overrated,” Tito Ortiz’s obvious hate for Brock Lesnar and Ariel Helwani’s high praise of Alistair in spite of picking him to lose the fight.

I’d love to know how much the room service bill cost for the post-fight celebration. Probably more than some readers make in a year.

Lil’ Jon makes a cameo at the end when he parties with “The Demolition Man’s” entourage in Vegas on NYE. Can’t wait to see the next one of these. Apparently The Reem has been shopping for a new gym in Florida, where he recently checked out American Top Team and Imperial Athletics.

hahaha I am not impressed - that is some funny shit ^^^^
@knucklesamitch - I am white, and I have also gone to Buffalo Wild Wings for a free fight. And you right, even in that place (you got to admit its not a rowdy place) there was no over the top emotions when a fight was taking place.
Go back and watch that video again, I think that guy from New York, might have been Ben. GRIN

I am not impressed with your impersonation.
Amsterdam- January 20, 2012 at 10:11 am
@ knucklesamitch. maybe you havent seen such reactions because Buffalo Wild Wings sounds like a redneck gaybar where a bunch of white guys come together on a saturday to have a good time..
jizzninja- January 20, 2012 at 9:57 am
Right on knucklesamitch. This shit reminded me of the koreans reacting over kim jong il's death...completely over the top.

I am nearly positive that in that group of dumb bitches jumping around, I saw Drano's little cute pout - fresh with some peach lip gloss.
Who are are those fucking groups of geeks that video tape themselves, and whats up with that one loner from NY all about the cameras lens and some attention! hahaha
What a bunch of pathetic losers...and whats up with those retro hair cuts most of them are sporting. No wonder they were all rooms filled with just dudes wearing flashy labels.
Someone needs to let these kooks know that the reason those moppy haircuts died out 2-3 decades ago was because they couldn't pull any pussy looking like that, and when they tried they got beat up too often.
I agree with that ^Norge^ - Macready, this production company has these hype videos dialed in.
Considering Brock had little MMA experience, he was classy in his departure. More ought to follow his lead in their exodus. Can't blame a guy who isn't use to losing to step off.
What's up with that pansy napkin for a few stitches? Weak Sauce.
Reems trainer(s) looks, sounds, and comes across like good guys to work with.
Someone send Dana to a spelling class - his subtle ALISTAR name calling has gotten old. The first time it was cute, now its obvious he does it on purpose.

I watch all the fights at my local Buffalo Wild Wings and I have never seen any of the 100's of people there act like a single person in that video when they watch fights.

Well, I can say one thing: Watching those groups of retards watching the fight, yelling and screaming and throwing punches like theyre in the cage - yeah, thats why I generally watch the events alone at home. MMA fans like that are annoying as fuck.

Big fan of the last two comments here. I can't help it guys, I just love JDS. He is by far the most humble and talented fighter in the UFC in my opinion. Him and Ben Henderson. Those two are great ambassadors for the sport.

JDS via TKO. Don't be so impressed by Reem's win over Brock. Brock has done nothing but cower in the last 3 fights (Reem, Cain, Carwin). He was lucky to get the W in the Carwin fight. It is going to be a whole different story when he fights JDS and JDS is not scared of him in the slightest and goes in there and throws them thangs to the Reem's mullet.

JDS has been able to win ALL of his fights via take down defense and boxing. He has not really had to utilize kicks, take downs, JJ, wrestling. This does not mean those things are not in his arsenal, just means he is so good at boxing and heavy handed that he doesn't need to use those things just yet.

I wonder if they will put pictures of "Reem's" unconscious body (after Cigano clubs him) on the next episode of "the Reem?"
FedorSucksDonkeyDick- January 20, 2012 at 5:28 am
Bandwagon Fuckers!!!! You should never count out a guy that was named after a Spanish soap opra.....WAR DOS SANTOS!!!!!!!!!
Dagnut- January 20, 2012 at 4:23 am
Get on the band wagon.

Todd Duffee went for a "start quick" strategy...did that phase Ubereem?
He's just too experienced for anyone to predict a "what if", he is ready for it all.
Knurft- January 20, 2012 at 1:22 am
Loved at the staredown how Overeem put up his mean face while Brock swallowed, blinked and then bowed his head to Reem. Brock definately had a mental Tim Sylvia there.
Cigano vs Reem, raw power vs speed, rly tough to predict. I hope JDS can take a few lowkicks as Overeem probably will use them against the boxer JDS. Overeem might have a problem as he likes to wait, take a few shots and then come out himself. He may not have time for that against JDS.
Sopapo- January 20, 2012 at 12:26 am
I thought the same, Brock connected, JDS can strike him 100 times more. But then again the reem has some chin. Im burning my head thinking what game plan they will come up to face Dos Santos, probably rush the clinch and deliver brutal knees.
Funkdoobiest- January 20, 2012 at 12:11 am
Fuck that was an epic vid, JDS better literally train his ass off! I think JDS is a beast but Overeem is like the trained hunter going in for the kill. It's fucking scary to watch this guy fight, he sorta hangs back like a snake, sees an oportunity and zip!, he attacks like a snake.

Btw, what's the name of the song playing at the new year event?

Which doobie U B?
jizzninja- January 19, 2012 at 10:50 pm
Jds is going to split reem. He moves good for a hw and I just see Jds pounding reem out. I also refuse to believe reem isn't juiced out of his head.

@CHeeseburger Eddie: Good thing you aren't a horse burger or you'd be fucked..

I wonder if Reem "got on top of his wife" ala Brock??????
(please don't hurt me Alistair)

Brock's only punch landed, and he is far from being a good striker. JDS is a much more fluid and relaxed pugilist, and I suspect he will give Overeem problems with his boxing.
Overeem's clinch, however, is completely brutal and Dos Santos needs to keep his distance. I would put my money on JDS, though I would love to see Overeem win. Both of them would make great champions, they have great personalities to go along with their abilities.
macreadysshack- January 19, 2012 at 7:24 pm
These Reem features are all so awesome. It's amazing that they've been able to keep them coming and maintain so much quality. There's some real art direction talent that goes into every one.

I think Brock was doing everything he could to keep up the appearance and try to cultivate confidence for himself but he just wasn't all there. All that talk about how hungry he was . . . and to think that he had already planned on retirement either that night or the next fight. Dude already had one foot out of the game. Hungry my ass. I don't blame him . . . why not just hang out on the ranch, get stoned and shoot guns? Jesus, if I had the money to set up a lifelong automatic income, I'd be doing that in a goddamned mobile home on five acres, let alone Brock's spread.

JDS needs to get on his bicycle, set a fast pace and keep it technical and out-fucking-side - try to get Reem's muscles full of blood and begging for O2. Letting that goddamned freight train hit you when he's fresh - I don't think anybody could take that kind of punishment.

The Reem/JDS fight is awesome on so many levels. It's not even close to a sure thing for either guy. They both bring similar skill-sets but very different styles of implementation of those skills. I think it'll come down to who can impose their game-plan. They both need solid strategies and I think each of their strategies should be very different. Gun to head, I'd pick Overeem but if the lines were good for JDS, I'd pick him easy.
