Not long ago we wrote about the surprisingly well-done Chris Leben video from Icon Sport. Now the first episode is out, and while Leben himself is no Aristotle he does seem to be more mature than the Leben who KO’d doors on “The Ultimate Fighter”. Around the 4:00 mark talk turns to Michael Bisping, and then Leben describes it as “the fight that needs to happen”. That might be overstating it a bit, but at the very least it’s a fight that would be cool if it really happened this time.

He may have matured, but he has absolutely no class whatsoever. He needs to be fed multiple servings of humble pie and even then, I doubt it would make much difference.
Leben can mature all he wants, but you can't take the punk attitude and lack of class out of him, it's in his blood, it defines who he is. Nonetheless, change is possible, he simply needs to genuinely care and do it from within with effort on his own part.
If I didn't know any better, I'd say he's just trailer park white trash and will be for life, however, I sincerely hope he changes himself for the better, gets some class and respect for others, and be a positive asset to the MMA community not just as a fighter, but as a decent human being as well.
We can all better ourselves, and Leben is no different, I just hope he truly does it.
