GSP won a TV station award: The Sportsnet Canadian Athlete of the year. Around since...2007 or something.
Yes, it's great that GSP won but I don't think an internet-fan voting contest (Which by the way, you could vote for once per hour) is anywhere as prestigious as an award that's been around for decades.
