Coalition Fight Music to Sponsor Team Cesar Gracie, Nick Diaz Appears in Music Video

Cancel the Summer 2011 XXL Awards, we found the winner.

The concept of a music label sponsoring fighters is nothing new. However, one ambitious label has decided to sponsor an entire team. According to, Coalition Fight Music will be sponsoring Team Cesar Gracie, providing entrance music for the fighters. The deal is expected to begin with Nick Diaz’s entrance music for his upcoming superfight with GSP at UFC 137.

Hopefully unrelated is Nick Diaz’s cameo in Stockton rapper Ben Kaos’ music video for “In It 2 Win It (Remix)”. In the video, Nick Diaz is shown training, throwing up a Stockton Heybuddy… you know, just being Nick Diaz. As for the actual song, let’s just say that Ben Kaos is no Miilkbone.  And that’s not exactly a compliment to Miilkbone.

By the way, the song that Coalition Fight Music is making for Nick Diaz will also be featured in the upcoming Supremacy MMA video game and the upcoming Jackie Chan flick “Life is War”. So now The Scrap Pack has the support of its own label and D-list actor? Your move, Black House.

Shit is tight yo. You gots that shit correct Savage; L just got took to school.

I was expecting Nick to have a verse in there, you can't say "featuring" someone if they don't at least do the hook. If Either Diaz puts out a record I hope they provide a lyrics sheet. Preferably scribbled on rolling paper.

This wanker, Ben Kaos, is a wannabe Dirt Nasty in the beginning of his song "1980."

I like some really bad rap (according to others I've subjected to it) - but not that song. The lyrics aren't bad, the beat is almost non existent but not bad, but his voice, gimme a break, it sounds like the computer programmers I work with complaining.
cagefightmon- July 9, 2011 at 3:06 pm
dude . . . Shut Up! The song's as bad as Nick's attitude--great match!

It's the Caucasian variant of Lil'Wayne.

whoa! This guy is a punchline machine: "Used to be nice, now I'm icey like a alligator"...I can't believe Big L never thought of that one.
