If you missed Spike’s "Countdown to UFC 104" hype show this week, allow us to present it to you in its entirety. Some highlights:
— We meet Lyoto Machida‘s lovely wife Fabyola, who recalls how emotional he got after winning the belt. Now that he’s the champion, he’s more outspoken and he’s dressing better.
— Becoming a UFC champion was like a "movie playing out in real life" for Machida. But the onslaught of attention from media and fans in his native Brazil convinced him to move his camp to the serenity of the Terra Alta farm, a natural paradise full of overflowing coconuts and spider monkeys that love to give hugs.
— Shogun‘s trainer thinks that the fact that Rua has never been knocked out will somehow protect him from getting knocked out by Machida.
— Shogun is expecting his first child, which is giving him more motivation to win his fight against Machida.
— To get where he is today, Ben Rothwell has had to overcome spinal meningitis, a rough childhood spent as "the fat kid," and a car wreck that put him in a coma and killed his friend.
— In a bit of truth-massaging, Rothwell is referred to as the IFL’s former heavyweight champion, and it’s implied that he won the title by defeating Ricco Rodriguez.
— Velasquez feels that if he could take those shots from Cheick Kongo, he could take shots from anybody. Rothwell points out, quite correctly, that he’ll be Velasquez’s toughest test to date.
— Cain Velasquez‘s father has been deported more times than Velasquez has fought professionally.

How about he take some fucking responsibilty and teach his own goddamn self... because we're tired of giving fucking handouts... isn't it enough that he's sucked the teet of America without contributing a fucking dime? Now you want SOMEONE ELSE to teach the cocksucker english too? Fuck that piece of shit. He needs to take some initiative for once in his goddamn life.
Would they glorify another fighter's father who was a criminal in another way? .. "Joe Schmoe's dad was arrested 7 times for commiting burglary, but he kept getting out of jail and kept burglarizing to support his family.. what a fucking hero that guy is!"
"I wrap this Celtic flag around my fist so that when I hit someone, it's for all the white people"... yeah sounds racist doesn't it? Well it's fucking racist when mr. Brown turd says the shit too.
With people who have an attitude like yours towards non-U.S. born people, it's pretty tough to learn English. Lack of time to go to school, fear of deportation which in turn leads to only being surrounded only by Spanish speakers, and racist natives (like yourself) who don't want them there in the first place because they're brown all contribute to the problem. Believe me, he wants to speak English. How about you reach out to a person who doesn't speak English and try to teach them something instead of simply castigating an entire group of people? We're all humans. If you really think that way, then fuck you.
—Machida by way of ninja death-strike combos
—Rothwell by TKO, however, war Cain! so that he can help his parents out.
—Junie Browining by way of "fan man" entrance into the octagon while smoking meth.
won't read or can't .....Fag!
@StYoung,
Great stuff, really good in your condition.
Anderson Silva and half of his opponents disagrees with you.
Now let's keep our stupid ideas and logic MMA related ehhh guys? Share the rest with your sister, that way her and I have something to speak about after mashing =P
Shut up.
@StYoung
Good job, you typed a wall of text that nobody will read. Get to your point and prove it more efficiently next time.
also, dana's head looks very misshapen in his interview. maybe he is on roids.
Ay caramba!
LOL.
First off, what makes you think that Cain's parents are undeserving of being in the US? Was it just because the guy didn't say something in English on camera? My grandmother, a legal citizen of this wonderful country, can't build a full sentence in English to save her life, but I know she loves it here. Does that mean she should be sent back to wherever it is she came from? I would hope not. In addition, I'm sure Cain's father has worked his brown ass off to provide for his family and for probably next to nothing, save for a meager wage and the piece of mind that his kids won't have to lead the same life he did in Mexico.
Secondly, it's estimated that illegal immigrants pay roughly $9 billion in taxes per year (probably on the high side, but I'm too busy being a good American to bother looking for other stats, plus I'm waaaay too stoned at the moment), and that's not counting the taxes that employers withhold (yes, as business owners they have to pay taxes, too) and pay into a social security system that an illegal immigrant won't have a prayer of ever knowing first hand. And it's not like many of these "freeloading sons of bitches" (yeah, I'm putting words into your mouth, but I'm pretty sure they're much nicer than the words you normally use) are earning so much money that they're going to be paying taxes come April 15.
Drink piss, buddy (Take that as you will in this new era.) And while you're at it, please learn the difference between "their," "there," and "they're." It's annoying when a person berates another for his, or her English language skills and gets simple shit like that wrong.
