Strikeforce’s "Fedor vs. Rogers" card on 11/7 has locked down a co-headliner. According to MMA Weekly, Jake Shields and Jason "Mayhem" Miller will fight for the organization’s undisputed middleweight title — not one of those weak-ass "interim" belts. Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker explains the situation:
Mayhem confirmed his bout with Shields via Twitter, writing "Ok bitches who said I was ducking- I duck NO ONE. Fighting Sheilds [sic] on November 7th. Official BOOM."
Scott Coker told MMA Fanhouse that Gegard Mousasi and Cris Cyborg will also be on the supporting card of "Fedor vs. Rogers," and that the venue will be announced next week. Early signs are pointing to Chicago’s Sears Centre, as Strikeforce is reportedly in talks with Illinois’s athletic commission to sanction the event.
If you’re curious, Cung Le will be appearing in the sci-fi/horror pic Pandorum alongside Dennis Quaid, Ben Foster, and Never Back Down‘s Cam Gigandet; the flick opens next Friday.

hjdev poses a great question. Babalu was really the only notable 205'er not with the UFC. I'm wracking my brain thinking of a decent LHW that is free agent at the moment and can't think of anybody. Ricardo Arona? I got nothin'. No doubt Gegard's gonna have to fight a can like Cyborg Santos, Randleman, or Southworth.

I think Richard has the only good idea for Mousasi and now that Filho is in Dream they have a partnership with Strikeforce so maybe it could happen, plus they fucking hate each other so thats nice too. Mayhem is gonna get submitted like a bitch, I know his sub defense is awesome but Jake is gonna catch him.

I think they should get Arona on this card and Jacare pull from m1 maybe Dmitriy Samoilov or Giva Santana for jacare lucio Linhares for Arona A diaz fight would be cool two but i wanna see an arona set up for mousassi and a Jacare setup for shields or mayhem.
