Dana nailed this one, “Disgusting” is probably the best word in the English vocabulary to describe watching Thompson’s ear explode like an over-ripe zit, and then seeing the poor bastard stand there with a piece of chewed fat hanging off the side of his head. At least now we’ve seen how Kimbo performs against a fighter not over 40 and with at least a shred of talent. If he needs a W bad enough I hear Ken Shamrock has plenty of spare time on his hands.

If you don’t like Dana White’s attitude – fine! I can be okay with that. But the people who don’t recognize what he has done for this sport are idiots. The UFC has done more for this sport than anyone. They put on great fights on both PPV and Spike, and they spend tens of millions to expand the sport. They lobby states and governments to legalize and sanction MMA, they spend truickloads of money to take the sport to new regions and countries, and whatever anyone says, they also have done more to increase fighter pay and bonuses than anyone else.

…and they don’t have freak show fights, where Dana White is clearly cheering for one of the freaks to win.

I will give credit to Dana White. He does come across as pompus at times but he has worked his ass off to set the bar for MMA talent. No matter what people think about how commercial or blown up UFC has gotten. Its still classy, has the best fighters and in my opinion is worth the pay per view most times. Id much rather watch UFC on pay per view just to avoid all those god damned commercials and glitzy bullshit that doesnt belong in MMA in the first place.

Kimbo would not survive one minute in the UFC. The XC show proved that UFC fighters are in alot better shape. Kimbo could hardly hold his arms up in the second round. Lets see what he can do against “the natural”

People can and do hate Dana, but he has set the standard that everyone else is measured to. Tracksuit Gary (so far) has come across like the guy standing on the street corner with the “will work for lots of food” sign as Dana drives by in his Ferrari……

Gato, the freakshow was the rapper singing is way down the walk way, the dancing girls and the horrific kimbo fight.

We dont need rappers in MMA, we don’t need dancings girls shaking their asses on the walk way and we really dont need paid off refs to call a fight that shouldn’t have been called.

Dana might not say it, but I will, Elite XC has set the MMA world back 10 years.

Dana White – Truth teller….

In all honesty, I do have a touch of the cauliflower ear. It just sort of stopped developing at some point, which i was perfectly fine with. Occasionally I go for a haircut and the woman will touch the hardened portion of my ear on accident and the look on her face, well, it’s just priceless.

I forgot to mention, Gina C. is the freak of that show. Wow. That’s a cheese sandwich I would dive right into.

Dana just gained some cool points in my book (which I just started – it’s called “Cool Points”). The fact that he can step back and realize how people feel about him and still hold his ground, insisting that he’s in it for the right reasons, seems admirable. However, “disgusting” is a bad choice of word(s). Something tells me Dana would have welcomed Kimbo into the UFC. Certainly wouldn’t have hyped him as much as Elite, but what else does Elite have? Oh, and Gary Shaw seems as though he’s in it just for the money. Greedy and tubby is no way to go through life, son.

Well, it might have been, but I still enjoyed the show.
