Dana White’s UFC 136 Video Blog #1

DW’s infamous vlog’s are back ladies and gentlemen, and it seems his aforementioned pattern of showing loads of footage from the previous UFC event is holding true, this time with UFC 135. It’s hard to even call these Danavlog’s anymore because besides his introduction, The Baldfather doesn’t even make an appearance until 7 minutes into the video. Though I must admit, it is pretty interesting to see the post fight medical examinations, especially Aaron Riley‘s, who, after spitting up as much blood as he can manage, declares he’d rather not have his jaw wired shut again. As a fan of solid food, I can’t really blame the guy.

A few notes:

• Shaquille O’Neal picked Rampage to win because “Old guys rule”

• “Big Ben” was well aware of the fact that he did not perform well against Mark Hunt

Matt Hughes and Josh Koscheck seemed like regular pals after their fight

Jon Jones was in some serious fucking agony following his win over Rampage

• Rampage seemed no worse for the wear despite a NASTY cut over his right eye, that is until they started administering “a stinger” to numb the pain

• Rampage also really wants to be on that Japan card

Speaking of this UFC event, anyone happen to catch the Post presser, seems either there is some kind of beefaroni between Good Old bones and Mark Hunt. After DW mention if Jones continues to dominate the LW div, he could possibly move up to HW, a question is asked for Mark Hunt. Jones being next to him, slides the mic towards him. Seems like MH is either in his own world, are laughing at what DW. If you look closely, Jones glances at Hunt, and gives him this creeptified defensive ass look as if he thinks Mark Hunt was laughing at him. I smell some beefaroni....

Very cool blog. Seeing the real aftermath is awesome, everyone with their hearts on their sleeves there.

I loved seeing the doctors working in them after the fight. Its also very clear now that Jones hurt his foot. Actually he did say they both hurt but, it was clear one was hurt more.

I got mad respect for Rampage. Loved it when he admitted that he was rocked and in trouble and gave props to Bones for his abilities.

As much as I hate to admit it I am gaining respect for Koscheck as well. His skills keep improving and he has been shown to be not such a dick behind the scenes.

Overall camaraderie shown by the fighters was a great thing to see and proof to the haters of MMA that its not all neanderthals getting into the cage.

Can someone please explain the fascination with Dyrdek? He's in all of these damn things and contributes NOTHING

I'd love to see Rampage v Shogun. I don't think it's gonna happen in Japan, but that's a fight I wanna see.

People can say what they will about Rampage but the dude is one of the most genuine characters in the sport.

I think this is one of the best dana vlogs ive seen, great behind the scenes and honest, gotta love the sportsmanship shown by these guys.

I prefer these behind-the-scenes vlogs over the ones where we just get to see how rich and awesomely well connected DW is. I thought this one was great.

I really liked this one, that was some good behind the scenes stuff. Rampage really should stop fighting and go into the broadcast booth, I think he'd be a hella entertaining color guy. Or he can take over for Bas when he retires.
