Denis Kang Gets Wrecked, PRIDE-Style, at Road FC 3 [VIDEO]

(Props: NightmareofBattle via MiddleEasy)

Following his release from the UFC, Denis Kang has kept a somewhat lower profile, competing for promotions like W-1 in Canada and Impact FC in Australia. But a return to the big leagues is even less likely now that he’s dropped two straight. In May, Kang suffered a first-round submission loss at the hands of Jesse Taylor — not a good look for a formerly top-ranked fighter who once went 23 consecutive fights without a loss — and last Sunday he was flattened by local talent Seung Bae Whi in a slugfest at Road FC 3 in Seoul, South Korea.

Here’s the video of round 2 of that fight. Things really start to heat up around the 2:30 mark, and Kang is face-down taking knees to the head on the mat by the 3:00 mark. Good to know that at least in South Korea, PRIDE neva die. Are we seeing the end of the line for the Super Korean?

Actually if Kang would have just won against Bizping, Wandy should have been the one to send that fucker packing his bags and headed home. I can't wait until that news is posted on Cage Potato!

Bisping is the most hyped and over rated fighter there is in the UFC. Miller, Akiyama, and Rivera...what a joke and obvious move by the Fajita's to salvage the rep of a natural loser.

The only reason Bisping has been kept alive, is that the UFC desperately needs the viewership from the United Kingdom.

Kang's 2 fight losing streak is a huge fucking bummer. I've always been a big fan and wished the UFC had given him one more chance, given his amazing career and Pride superstar status.

Seeing Bisping beat him was one of the most heart-wrenching experiences in all my mma fandom. Fucking Bisping...

Honestly, I'm glad those knees have become largely illegal in most MMA organizations. They're a quick way to permanently ravage a fighters spinal column, leading to chronic debilitating back pain, or worse, paralysis.

I think it would be fair to say that Kang was a little over confident which is what caused his loss. It kind of reminds me of his fight against Mousasi in that he seemed to get a little over confident, over stretched himself and got caught. He looked to be winning those stand up exchanges and seems to have been caught by Seung Bae Whi (who looks like he can take a punch). Kang just needs to learn not to wade in too much.

I'd love to see what caused his eye to swell up like that too. That looked nasty!

Afterwards, Kang tested positive for elevated levels of spinach in his body.

Looks like that kiss from Arriany didn't help him at all.

Looked like one of kangs eyes was shut, and he was going for the finish knowing that the doctors would stop it at the next break. Pretty pathetic though once they hit the ground.. I would think he could do a little more to protect himself or even roll over to his back to at least change the position.
