Dream.11 Video Round-Up: Super Hulk matches, Featherweight GP Fights, + More

(Props: MMA Share)

We’ll say this much for Dream, they may not always put on the most competitive or, for lack of a better word, serious fights, but at least you always know what you’re going to get from them.  For instance, you’re going to get Kazushi Sakuraba tooling a washed-up pro boxer while Michael Schiavello utters baffling one-liners like, "Trying to predict what Sakuraba’s going to do next is harder than finding a pubic hair at a Jonas Brothers concert."

Thanks, Michael.  It’s been far too long since I thought about the hairless genitals of pre-pubescent girls, and what better time to return to that disturbing image than during an MMA bout?  But hey, creeping you out with prepared material that he’s scribbled on hotel stationery is all in an evening’s work for "The Voice."

After the jump, more videos from last night’s festivities, including all the Super Hulk freakness you can stomach, the semi-final matches of the featherweight Grand Prix, plus others.  More coming soon.  Full results from Dream.11 are all the way at the bottom.  Consider yourself warned.

-Minowaman is the man... against abnormally large fighters.
-Bob Sapp really, really needs to learn how to get out of side control.
-Fernandes really showed how tough a guy he is by stomping off like an angry toddler. He should've pulled a James Irvin and suggested they finish the fight in the parking lot, instead.

That is all.
Sakuraba 3900- October 6, 2009 at 3:56 pm
I love Minowaman. Hes just so damn ridiculous... when Kimbo gets kicked out of the UFC Dream needs to swoop him up to put him up against Minowaman.

Oh and Gracie_Nuthugger needs to chill the fuck out...

that is all

@ BigCountrysChol...

Warren said Bibiano was shitting in his pants for fear and he said it wasn't Bibano's fault, because he was the dangerous man in the world and any fighter would be scared of him.

Anyone else think HMC vs Minowaman completely looked like a work?
steampunk22- October 6, 2009 at 12:42 pm
the Hansen/Aoki fight is up on MMATKO
Chiggs- October 6, 2009 at 11:17 am
As is Warren tries to say he didnt tap, what a biatch, can clearly see it at the 1:08 mark as he's going down, he starts to an does two/three times on his knee. Hehe Bibs tellin him he tapped an flippin the bird to his is classic :P Gawd loving DREAM and glad it rose up out of the ashes of Pride, some amazing fights. Only thing I really dont like, is how they are protecting Shinya(who Ithink is phenomenal anyways) a little to much. Was surprised to here Guy saying how he should get an acedemy award for his acting lol, some good announcing right there. All n all, great nite/morn. of fights, cant wait for Dream 12 and the White Cage!!!! War Dream!!
Dojima- October 6, 2009 at 10:58 am
i think that referee was trying to teach Ruben Williams a bit of a lesson by letting that kimura go through a tapout, up until he screams in agony and Saku lets go... had to admit, i lol'd

We'll say this much for CagePotato, they may not always put on the most insightful out there but no one can scoopp as much, for lack of a better word, 'bias' in one anti-japanese post like those turds.

5 good fights.
1 old timers and
2 for the TV folks.

How the hell is that a bad card?
You people were ready to try to convince people that Mark Coleman was a legitimate fight so I have no problem with a seniors tour fight with Saku.
The stuff to get in TV ratings? Please, the 'freakshow/joke' part of UFC just doubled their ratings by having a joke and the Michelin man.

So what was bad about the 5 fights on paper?
It didnt feature Billy Bob from Bumfuck, Idaho? That the 3,4 and 5th fight werent some generic reality TV escapees.
Quick! Kristof Szozxinksipi is fighting next.

Its the same shit with CafePotato: doenst matter what comes out of japan or any non-UFC logo org and its gotta be total shit.

I saw the fight like I see most MMA ones: online. And this was a good card.

Holy shit awesome Fights! can't wait for the Aoki hansen rematch though I hate Aoki hes such a bitch and he got lucky. (for those who haven't watched it get ready for another ten minute Aoki cryingfest in the middle of the fight)
MC Obscene- October 6, 2009 at 9:55 am
I woke up at 4am to watch this morning! Actually some really awesome fights. I also love Michael Schiavello commentating style, even if it is a little hooky at times and way over the top.
K.E.G.- October 6, 2009 at 9:52 am
Funny how theirs not a single super hulk in the finals of the super hulk tournament.
BigCountrysCholesterol- October 6, 2009 at 9:47 am
I agree w/Jugger. Even if he didnt tap, that arm was gonna get popped. But no points for anybody who acts like such a punk in victory. I want to know the whole story there; was there some pre-fight trash talk or bad blood?
Jugger- October 6, 2009 at 9:39 am
Joe Warren clearly tapped Bibiano's knee. Furthermore, had he not tapped, ole Bibs would'a taken that arm home as a souvenir. Joe looked like a complete fool contesting that call.

El Famous Burrito- October 6, 2009 at 9:18 am
Those extra punches were for Frankenhood.
MyFightWiffaCheeto- October 6, 2009 at 9:18 am
Aoki vs. Hansen fight anywhere yet?
Fedor vs. Bas- October 6, 2009 at 9:13 am
Lets see the video of Shinya Aoki vs. Joachim Hansen.

Joe Warren was doing great until that sweet armbar. Wow. . .
Bibiano Fernandes totally flipped Joe Warren off. Hahaha
ReDx- October 6, 2009 at 9:13 am
WTF is wrong with Sokoudjou, the extra punches were excusable the first fight but now he's just being an idiot.
omunto- October 6, 2009 at 9:10 am
Sokoudjou has a problem with ref stoppages I think... It's like he wants to actually kill the guy. Thats two in a row.
MyFightWiffaCheeto- October 6, 2009 at 8:58 am
Thank you so much CP... I forgot about these fights this morning. Great effin' post!
