1.
Urijah Faber
After his fourth WEC title defense against Jeff Curran in December, we went from being Urijah Faber fans to being Urijah Faber worshippers. His scary wrestling and submission skills are what make him the unassailable top dog in the WEC featherweight division, but it’s his boldness and creativity that make him one of the best fighters in the world, in any organization, in any weight division. Call us gay or whatever, but watching Faber work is a fucking joyous experience.
2.
Norifumi Yamamoto
Of course, Faber could conceivably be steamrolled by the "K.O. Kid." After all, this is the guy who literally flew across the ring to knock out Kazyuki Miyata at K-1 Hero’s 5 in four seconds. Not that Faber would fall for a gimmick like Kid’s flying knee if they ever met (fingers crossed), but Yamamoto has turned many big names into roadkill, often in the first minute of the first round, and tops Faber in terms of sheer explosive power. Like Fedor Emelianenko, Yamamoto’s only career "loss" came from a bullshit stoppage due to cut.
3.
Akitoshi Tamura
4.
Masakazu Imanari
5.
