1.
Urijah Faber
With his win over Jens Pulver, the California Kid has cleaned out the WEC’s featherweight division like Anderson Silva mowed down the UFC’s 185-pounders. There’s nothing left for him to do at his weight besides fight Kid Yamamoto; hopefully he’ll move to the UFC’s lightweight division one day, though he’s already small for a 145-pounder, and the size disadvantage would definitely be an issue.

2.
Norifumi Yamamoto
Still the default runner-up, Yamamoto is going through the same lack-of-challenges problem that Urijah is. For the foreseeable future, his only opponents will be guys who aren’t worthy of him. But even when he’s fighting scrubs, Kid brings more excitement than nearly every other fighter on the planet.

5.
Masakazu Imanari
Dokonjonosuke Mishima may have his number, but Imanari is too talented not to bounce back from his recent loss. The “Ashikan Judan” is still the 145-pound boss of Cage Rage, and we know we’ll see him defend his belt in the future.

This should be a top 10 list and Pulver should be #8.

One word. Jens Pulver.
