On July 19th, we'll find out if Fedor is still the greatest heavyweight in the world, or if he's just been getting by on hype for the last three years. Most likely, Fedor will make Tim look like Hong Man Choi with a slightly better jab.

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira

Now that Randy and Andrei are gone, Big Nog is indisputably the best heavyweight the UFC's got. Could be worse - Nogueira's jiu-jitsu is absolutely brilliant, and his back-from-the-dead resiliency is the stuff of legend. Minotauro doesn't lose; he just runs out of time.

Randy Couture

The Natural begins to drop due to inactivity. With luck, he'll be free to fight by the end of the year and could still be the first guy to beat Fedor, but he's already resigned himself to the possibility that he'll never compete again.

With impressive back-to-back knockout victories over big-name opponents, Werdum can't be overlooked anymore. Like Minotauro Nogueira, his jiu-jitsu gives opponents fits and he's never lost by stoppage, despite going toe to toe with some of the scariest heavyweight strikers around.

Josh Barnett

Sure, he looked a little chubby in his decision win over Jeff Monson at Sengoku II, but he also looked like he's not done kicking ass. Thanks to Affliction, we'll be seeing him fight in the States again, and we couldn't be more psyched.

Cro Cop desperately needs to beat a credible opponent if he still wants to be thought of as an elite heavyweight - but he's still spinning his wheels in the freak show circuit. Get your shit together, buddy.
