sigh….ill allow it since he is the lhw champ….but he isn’t that great as u will see in his next few fights…and placing silva over fedor? idk bout that…but its hard to argue either way

Honestly.. he does not deserve to be on this list at all. A few big name wins is not enough. Just because he is UFC LHW champ, doesn’t even necessarily mean he’s the best Light Heavyweight, as will be proved if he ever faces Wandy, Lyoto, or Chuck.. not even mentioning the fleeting chance of a Rampage rematch. Not to bash Forrest, he’s good and getting better.. but this list is the best of the best, and he is not that. Last year he got his clock cleaned and polished by Keith Jardine.. think about that.

agreed….emphasis on the sigh

How come Miguel Torres never gets included in the P4P list?
Sure, his division is probably a little weaker than most, but his absolute dominance over it should probably be acknowledged. Dude’s 34-1 and he finishes people. If he added some bulk he could easily give Faber a run at 145.

well why not add ants to the list then? they can lift 50 times their own body weight making them pound for pound the strongest animal…anything below lightweight isnt interesting to most

So should we take Urijah Faber off the list then since “most” don’t find him interesting?
Pound for Pound takes weight classes out of consideration, and whether or not you find him interesting Miguel Torres should be considered for this list.
Watch some of his fights…they’re fucking interesting.

this is bullshit

The P4P best fighter list is easy… Fedor, Silva, and Faber (in any order). Then there is everyone else. Why did G.S.P. even cross someone’s mind as being on a P4P list? I like Forrest as much as the next guy, but he is only on a 3 fight win streak.
July 26th, 2008 at 4:45 am
faber shouldnt be on this list. i will say it as long as he’s here. he beats everyone but i can think of a ton of guys who would also have a big winning streak and a championship belt if they fought the guys he has foughten.
@matt. why would gsp be on the p4p list? lets run-down who he’s beaten, mat hughes twice, frank trigg, bj penn, sean sherk, jay hieron, karo parisyan, josh kosckech, mayhem miller, do i need to keep going? faber hasnt foughten even one guy who is as good as any of the fighters i just named. i dont understand what the rational could be for putting him above gsp. he has only lost twice, once to matt hughes and of course serra, and hes destroyed both of them since, he finishes fights, what more do you want?

Matt “punk ass” Serra beat GSP not so long ago!!!! GSP has to prove himself again.

urijah faber is the man….end of story…he would destroy fedor and silva at the same time…

Urijah Faber should be ranked #1 - (No doubt)
