("Well, that’s the last time I let Fred do my makeup.")
As first reported by TMZ and later confirmed by more reputable sources — not that TMZ isn’t reputable, particularly when it comes to MMA fighters getting arrested in California — Forrest Griffin recently injured his shoulder, and will not be able to take his scheduled match against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at UFC 114 (May 29th, Las Vegas). At this point, the extent of Griffin’s injury is unclear, and a replacement opponent has not yet been found for Nogueira, who hasn’t competed since his impressive Octagon debut at UFC 106.
The loss of Griffin vs. Nogueira is an unfortunate hit for UFC 114, which coincides with the UFC’s second Fan Expo — but the lineup is still nicely-stacked; you can check it out after the jump. We’ll update you when we know more on Forrest’s injury, and if a replacement steps up to face Lil’ Nog.

commentsis it just me but wouldn't you rather see Amir fight on the main card than duffee? Quick dana switch slots before anyone notices.
Yeah. I actually did forget he and Anderson trained together, but I knew the others were Blackhouse. I was making an apparently unfunny joke. Seems to happen a lot.
Oh yeah.
Then give him Machida, or maybe make him go up in weight and fight Dos Santos.
forrest is a great fighter but rogerio is better all around and just as dangerous as his brother but quicker so i doubt forrest could have found a way to beat him
whoe does the ufc potentially have available for nogueira?
I think hes doing the SF thing, trying to get a title or a shot at Fedor.
Give Lil Nog, Anderson. Wouldn't that be neato?
I still say give him Thiago Silva...and have Jones on like a secondary branch fighting who loses one of the 2 big lhw matchups..then get one of the winners if he continues to dominate. Then a title shot...or maybe one more match against whoever is under the champ at the time....then for sure a title shot.
For Jones, not Lil Nog.
@Videodrome
Luiz Cane again? Really?
benfowlkesMMA Anyone want to fight Lil Nog on four weeks notice? For the record, the correct answer here is 'absolutely not.'
HA! mmafighting cannot break him.
Li'l Nog needs top competition NOW. Could Thiago Silva be ready to go? That's really all i got.
