("Tough loss against CB." "Yeah. How’s your leg doing?"
The card for UFC 124 is filling in nicely with the addition of four fights reported by various sources today.
MMAFighting reports that Jason MacDonald will return to action following one of the most gruesome leg-break injuries in UFC history he incurred in his UFC 113 bout seven months ago in Montreal against John Salter.
MacDonald (24-14), who is on his second go-around in the UFC will be looking to make this stay in the Octagon a permanent one when he takes on Gracie jiu-jitsu black belt, Rafael Natal (12-3) who lost by decision in his Octagon debut against Rich Attonito at UFN 22 in September.
Also on the card, according to MMAJunkie and MMADiehards will be MacDonald’s fellow Canadians Joe Doerksen and TJ Grant who will take on Dan Miller and Ricardo Almeida, respectively.
Doerksen (46-13) had a seven-fight winning string snapped by a first-round submission loss to CB Dollaway at UFC 119 last month while Miller (12-4, 1NC) ended a three-fight losing streak by submitting John Salter via "ninja choke" at UFC 118 in August.
Grant (16-4) logged a decision win over Julio Paulino UFC 119 and Almeida (12-4) lost his last fight by submission when he was rendered unconscious by an anaconda choke administered by Matt Hughes at UFC 117.
Rounding out the UFC 124 line-up will be a lightweight tilt between Jim Miller and Charles Oliveira. Miller (18-2) is undefeated in his last five outings, including wins over Mark Bocek, Mac Danzig and Gleison Tibau in his most recent bout at UFN 22. Oliveira, who is a perfect 14-0 in MMA and 2-0 in the Octagon sent TUF 8 winner Efrain Escudero packing from the UFC via a rear naked choke at UFN 22.
