I’m kind of confused. Why would Nog not be a decent replacement? Keep in mind he was battling a staph infection for the Mir fight, and that Lesnar still has a lot to prove. Lesnar has two credible wins, a loss, and win over a can. I don’t think that makes him by any means unstoppable. Not to mention that style wise Nog’s jitz matchs up well against Lesnar’s inexperience. Nog could just as easily submit Lesnar.. Mir did. Also, the last time I remember a situation like this happening was after gsp/penn 1. That fight was to determine who would fight Hughes for the title.
