Frank Mir vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira Rematch Booked for UFC 140 in Toronto

Coming off his redemptive knockout of Brendan Schaub at UFC 134, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira‘s next fight will give him a chance to settle an old score. The UFC announced yesterday that Big Nog will rematch Frank Mir at UFC 140, December 10th in Toronto.

The two heavyweights first met at UFC 92 in December 2008 following a shared stint on TUF 8. Despite coming in as a 3-1 underdog, Mir shocked fans by outstriking Nogueira en route to a second-round TKO. Then, Nogueira pee-peed on Mir’s parade by revealing that he was fighting with a staph infection and injured knee, which didn’t exactly sit well with Mir.┬áNogueira has wanted a rematch ever since, and re-called-out Mir following his big win last month.

Mir, who tried to lobby for Alistair Overeem as his next opponent, is riding a two-fight win streak, with somewhat unimpressive victories over Mirko Cro Cop and Roy Nelson. The rematch feels like a lose-lose situation for him, but as an Odd Man Out, he’ll need to score another decisive win before he gets a step up the ladder. Your predictions?

It's confirmed by Nelson and Nog that Schaub is that scrub.
Exactly, sadly a case of irresponsible booking here.

I believe the old adage goes "Bad troll is bad"

WK, that would take at least minimal effort.. plus it would require them to respond to feedback, so it's obviously out of the question.

You realize you can just block any post with the Chinese spambot's URLs and their set phrases and they won't be able to post their spam?

Back to back articles with typos.. impressive cp. "First off, how till the UFC save money" was in the previous one. I know what will fix this! Delete my comment, delete Jimbonics comment, allow spammers and captcha to remain. That aughta do it.

I actually like it, the first fight was entertaining, this will tell us if Nog is back or if Schuab is really just a scrub, and give us i hint if Mir is better than just a gate keeper to pass going up and down.

i don't think i've ever been less excited about a fight...

With Mir's new found boxing skills and Nog's pension for blocking punches with his face, I see this going down allot like the first fight.

'en route to a second-route TKO'
I like this.

Mir will win again by TKO in second round.
