Wrestler vs wrestler doesn’t usually end up being a lay n pray.. wrestler vs striker/bjj maybe, but wrestlers usually are good enough at what they do to counter eachother well which often leads to a striking match or scrappy back and forth grappling. Think Griffin/Edgar, Cotoure/Lesnar, Hughes/Trigg (both times), Hammil/headkick victim, griffin/sherk, Edgar/Sherk, CB/other good wrestler (Masenzo?), fitch/gsp, hughes/gsp (all 3).. I could go on and on. Wrestler vs wrestler fights are actually usually quite entertaining.

This makes twice I have noticed you have gone out of your way to look like an asshole IRONCLOD! you need a chill pill…..everybody KNOWS that cupcake and twinkle-toes “bread and butter” is wrestling, so stop getting on your high horse acting like you fucking know anything about MMA. Word. I’m not sure Trigg is ready for Kos. I want to see a Diego and Koscheck rematch. The first one sucked. Koscheck is taking on all newcomers….or maybe all comers, who the fuck knows, but Trigg and Kos will be a good fight.

I’ve got Koscheck by 2nd round TKO. The UFC is really throwing Trigg into the fire right off the bat. You know Koscheck wants to avenge his last lost to Paulo Thiago!

Oh for crying out loud, another wrestler vs wrestler….. Jesus christ they might as well get Gray Maynard in there and he can tell the audience about his collegiate wrestling days for 15 minutes.

This will be a great fight. Both are talented but Koscheck is odviously a better fighter. I’d put the dough on Koscheck but Trigg is dangerous…unless of course your on his back. I hope he worked on his jitz.

As for douches, yah I can see that but i’ve come around to Koscheck. I used to hate his guts but the boy can fight. I think Frank Trigg is a pretty cool dude, he can get upitty from time to time but a good fighter, a good sports pesonality and im stoked to see him in the UFC.

I agree with Josh getting the win bro, but don’t you think it will be smarter for Josh to use his wrestling against Trigg. I just think Trigg is the better striker. Kos’ striking has come a long way, but I don’t think his stand up is as good as Triggs. Trigg has better use of knees and elbows in the clinch, and I think an all around better stand up game making it more dangerous for Kos to “play” there. But, if Kos takes him down, I think he can control the fight there and inflict more damage with gnp. What do you think?

Josh should win this one and I hope he does, he needs to get back on track after the robbery that was his last fight. Don’t argue with me just look at the pics CP posted.. ironically right after they posted the article claiming it wasn’t an early stoppage. Kos should take this one, my guess would be by outstriking trigg and stuffing his takedowns.

I goin with Josh, although I think he’ll need his g-n-p to pull out the win.
