Sources have confirmed to MMA Junkie that the rumored bout between returning welterweight contender Frank Trigg and perennial threat Josh Koscheck will indeed take place at UFC 103 (September 19th, Dallas); bout agreements have been sent out are expected to be signed shortly. Though his last two UFC appearances resulted in first-round rear-naked choke losses to Matt Hughes and Georges St. Pierre, Trigg is now on a four-fight win streak, including wins over Edwin Dewees and Falaniko Vitale. Koscheck is coming off an upset knockout loss against Paulo Thiago to UFC 95 in February, and needs a win to still be considered one of the best 170-pounders in the division.
UFC 103 will come just three days after UFC Fight Night 19 (September 16th, Oklahoma City), which will serve as a lead-in to the season premiere of For the Love of Kimbo.

commentsAre you a fucking retard? Please tell me good sir, what about these two guys would leads you to believe that they will lay on each other....especially the way they fight now? Hey homeboy, I'm glad you dusted of them UFC No. 60's but in case your rock doesn't have cable or internet....these guys have evolved since then.
Word. I'm not sure Trigg is ready for Kos. I want to see a Diego and Koscheck rematch. The first one sucked. Koscheck is taking on all newcomers....or maybe all comers, who the fuck knows, but Trigg and Kos will be a good fight.
True dat, true dat.
It was a prediction not a suggestion. Maybe it would be smarter for Josh to use his wrestling.. but that doesn't mean that's what he's going to do. Just ask Sean Sherk ;)
As for douches, yah I can see that but i've come around to Koscheck. I used to hate his guts but the boy can fight. I think Frank Trigg is a pretty cool dude, he can get upitty from time to time but a good fighter, a good sports pesonality and im stoked to see him in the UFC.
I still hate rashad....he's a killer and all but still a fucker. I hope Rampage butt rapes that dude when it comes time for black on black crime, num saying?
...Josh is a little less douchey. Kos by TKO second round.
I agree with Josh getting the win bro, but don't you think it will be smarter for Josh to use his wrestling against Trigg. I just think Trigg is the better striker. Kos' striking has come a long way, but I don't think his stand up is as good as Triggs. Trigg has better use of knees and elbows in the clinch, and I think an all around better stand up game making it more dangerous for Kos to "play" there. But, if Kos takes him down, I think he can control the fight there and inflict more damage with gnp. What do you think?
