My 14yr old son trained at Marcus' first school here in Bangor, ME years ago back before Marcus' Ultimate Fighter appearance.

Marcus was actually a great guy, he was friendly to everyone (except one douchy guy in the class) and he would stay after class and tell us stories about his life. Very entertaining stuff, it was like talking to Dalton from Roadhouse. And Marcus wasn't a very big guy so I can see why people would give him shit, to their peril.

Any doubts I might have had were erased when he was served papers during class because he was being sued by a guy whose kidney got punched and ruptured during a "bouncing" incident.

Also when my son who attended the same high School Marcus went to as a "troubled" youth informed people he was attending Marcus' school a few of the teachers had not very nice things to say about Marcus so I guess Marcus' comment about being a "punk" in his youth is true LOL He was quite a troublemaker and pretty much spent his school years fighting all the time. I can't recall exactly (been years since I heard this my son is 20 now) but I think he actually challenged a teacher to a fight or punched him. This teacher, who i think was one of my son's football coaches at the time had the most unflattering comments about Marcus LOL
