so if a punch by an mma'er with both feet planted can generate aboot 2000psi....what is the force generated by an elbow from a mullet man goin aboot 30mph on skates?
DB- February 28, 2009 at 3:58 pm you think that MMA could be a source of pride for Indian people? What I mean is, watching a guy from your country kick ass would probably be pretty gratifying, especially since, like you said, the country is known for less physical sports like cricket.

I would really like to see MMA become a global phenomenon. I think it has potential because nobody REALLY created it. Nobody owns it. It's something we can all relate to. There are no cultural barriers.

Im a Canadian citizen, but was born in India, and visit annualy. Other than very amateur "home-made" training facilities, this is the first i have even heard of MMA in India. This is awesome, and in Punjab, my home, wrestling and boxing are very popular. Maybe with some more exposure, India can become an MMA force. Unfortunately the averagre Indian doesn't give a fuck about any rea sport besides English fucken cricket. Hindus need to get their heads out of Englands ass.

I love seeing things like the MMA in India videos. A couple of years ago I thought we might be seeing the pinnacle of MMA's popularity, but I'm starting to feel like this is only beginning. I hope to look back on this time in 10 years and chuckle about the good old days. I look forward to seeing the fans get more an more sophisticated. Also, I'd love to see the day when athletes are enticed away from other sports to participate in MMA during their primes.
