I was walking down the street the other day when I saw a guy with a poorly-drawn UFC Octagon tattoo begging for spare change and I turned to my wife and said, “There’s proof that MMA has gone mainstream. Even street people know the culture.”

The sad reality is, that homeless people aren’t the only ones with bad judgment. Even people who should know better are getting terrible tattoos inspired by their favorite fighters, tattoos that their favorite fighters sport and tattoos of their favorite fighters in the sport. It’s becoming an epidemic.

A word of advice: When you find yourself in a tattoo parlour at 2 am on a Friday night with the great idea of getting a Chael Sonnen tattoo….don’t.
